Hi did. More vocal than i can recall and seemed more assured. Could be down to a better defence in front of him.

 

If he gets a game this year then I seem to recall McCartan knocked in a few for Accrington before he joined us. He might also be in the queue.

As much as I would like to see Spearing signed, very little chance this summer. Why would he swap a club likely to be challenging for play offs in league 1 for a league 2 club if he is happy there?
Wouldnt surprise me to see him signed by us next summer though, when I think he is out of contract

 

Bigger club? They’d argue that. He also gets to stay local to his family. That seems to influence his moves the most

 

We're a bigger club than Blackpool mate.

On what grounds are we a bigger club? They have a richer history and have done far better than us the last decade.

 

Unless Blackpool are forcing him out, Fordy is living in a dream world.

The facts suggest so. Our attendances mean zilch yet some fans use as s barometer to gage our club size. If anything it is detrimental.

 

Similar kind of honours regardless of fan base.

 

Similar but better eh? Not just honors, recently and historically they have placed above us in the league ladder on a season by season average.

I'd argue their casual fanbase is bigger anyway. We obviously have more hardcore fans but their social media fanbase has 70,000 more than ours.

 

Without studying Blackpools glorious history I would have thought the honours would be very similar - Premiership, lower leagues, FA Cup win. League position means very little if you aren't winning anything.

We have more fans but they have more social media fans. Excellent.

 

And they have a "championship manager"

 

Agree history wise they were mainly a 1st division side.

 

I said a richer history. Its facts. Don't forget Mortensen, Armfield, Ball andMatthews are part of their history.

Social media is a huge part in Football. If anything it shows they are more popular. More folk heard of them and interested in their club.

I'm adding weight to my case. You are offering zero to yours. Its almost like City are a bigger club because you said so....
