Next season we need a budget for:

More or less a full squad of players.
Serious remedial work to Valley Parade fixtures & fittings.
    Another new pitch
    Scouting network.
Repair work to the training pitches

So over you Herr Rupp, time to step up or step down.

Even if he coughed it up would you trust Rhodes to get all that done adequately?

    No me neither

You don't know that the playing budget will be cut though. We also don't know if it will be improved with a local takeover. Rupp does have funds that someone like Rhodes and Lawn can only dream about. Wether he's prepared to invest in the club is unknown.

No. Bassini has recently 'agreed' to buy Oldham. But then again, it isn't that long ago that Bassini had 'agreed' to buy Bolton.

    Good luck with that.
Although as I understand we're on a self repairing lease at Valley Parade ie we're resposible for the pitch, plus fixture and fittings etc.
That is not the case for Apperley Bridge. It is therefore not our responsibity. That said you'll then have to source alternative traning facilities which the club have gone down in numerous occasions without success

You do, if you want the pitch repairing to standard. or for fit for purpose
As I mentioned, they've already accepted the money originally allocated for the pitch was taken into the playing budget on the gamble that we would be in this khazi league for one season only.
So if you fix the pitch it will reduce next seasons playing budget.
If all is as if ?

Well it’s a lot of crap isn’t it. We were put into the second admin because it was totally unworkable. And where was @BingleyBantam@BingleyBantam when the extra cash Lawn added we had four great years with promotions and twice within touching distance of the championship not to mention cup finals and other cup runs.
Rhodes is now running the club the way he is at the behest of Rupp. We have had a good budget this year but we were coming from last years very low base..
We all would like new owners who will put the money in but until Rupp sells we are where we are.

£700k less than this year so £2m is the story. Sounds bad but I can think of two players who contribute feck all hoovering up the majority of that £700k so all hope isn’t lost.

Rupp is underwriting the club, whether that’s putting money in or promising to pay off any overdraft if it’s called in is anyone’s guess. After the shocking transfer window and sacking Bowyer straight after we’re not going up so the club continues to be a millstone for Rupp.

The suggesion would be Akpan & Doyle - Mike
Vaughan would be taken back on next years figures being in contract.

Akpan is up there with the biggest waste of monies in this club's recent history.

Would like to hear from Rupp this week rather than the usual player lying through their teeth on “how we go again, will give 100%” bollocks you get in the T&A. Captain Admin’s silence is no longer acceptable. Season ticket sales are taking a nose dive and at the prices they are the figures will not add up next year. Rhodes has screwed up yet again.

Problem is we win one game and it’s back on, then we lose one and it’s doom and gloom.

I wish it was true that, Baldwin was heading up a consortium to buy the club a few years ago, because under Rhodes we’re going nowhere fast. Rupp provides the funds and Rhodes decides how it’s spent and he’s blown it big time. How many poor January transfer windows have we had with this guy in charge? Who dumps a manager when the window has closed? It’s time for him to look at his own position and look to bring in someone with better attributes to take us forward. With this years playing budget we should have had a more balanced squad performing way, way better than we are. Rhodes sanctioned those transfers which to me shows he’s either too weak, doesn’t know what he’s doing, or too easily hoodwinked.

How can anybody say Stefan hasn't put the cash in? Didn't he put his own money in to fund Jack Payne's loan and cover the loses made by Edin?

We probably have the highest budget in L2. Bowyer was backed - Donaldson and Vaughan aren't playing for peanuts.

Blame the abysmal recruitment, manager and tactics. Not Stefan, he has backed the manager.

We shall see what the summer brings, my concern is Rupp who does have the finance to help the club sells under pressure to a local consortium and we would probably be worse off. Remember the period under Rhodes /Lawn between 2009/12 when the budget was really slashed and we nearly ended up non league. I agree with your earlier post that there is a lot of slack in this seasons budget with Akpan and a few others who would not be missed.

Rupp cant be knocked for not giving Bowyer the capital for the recruitment this season. Weve certainly had some big names in the squad, experienced players who have played much higher that who have simply not justified his faith or their huge wages!

Yet sadly, even a top 3/4 playing budget is not enough. We do need a change at the top as we'll continue to overspend and underachieve year on year without significant further investment and the lack of a real plan.

The overheads associated with a rapidly dating and run down stadium are crippling, a lack of real structure when it comes to recruitment means every signing is a roll of the dice. Too much is currently and will continue to be left purely down to luck.

Unless someone comes in who has the ambition and means to revamp the club from top to bottom, we'll continue to tread water...

I believe £10m was a figure quoted by @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler as the amount needed, in his opinion, to buy the club and take it forward.
I didn't realise that Rupp had had an offer in the summer. I'm interested what the "fair price" might be and did the buyer have the additional funds to take the club forward

Akpan’s on big money but Riley? Wikipedia says he’s played five games for City. And he was subbed at half time in some of those. He came from Man Utd and was signed by Rahic.
