    Will The Guardian do ;)
    https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jan/23/david-beckham-salford-city-stake-class-of-92-neville-giggs-butt-scholes

David Beckham has become a shareholder in Salford City, taking a 10% stake and so joining Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes as Class of 92 owners.

Beckham’s acquisition of his stake from Peter Lim makes the Class of 92 majority shareholders, the Singapore businessman retaining 40%.

We'll out of the top 4 currently in our division, 3 do. Haven't had time to check further but think it further clarrifies my point

Rupp’s asking price for Bradford City is £10m.

Rhodes sold to Rupp & Rahic.
Rhodes put the club in admin to get rid of Gibb.
Rhodes lost Valley Parade to Gibb.
Rhodes is the best man to run Bradford City? Here lies the problem.

No change at Bradford City until there is REAL change at the club and that is at the very top. Rupp should have sold out at a fair price when he had chance in the summer.

    club is screwed.

On the basis that Salford FC is a purely a group company, I'd suggest that Project 92, the holding company is where you should be looking.

Didn't they make a loan of over £2 million to the club as recently as December?

It wouldn't make any sense to me mate that's why I posted wiki's 5 ownership, keep it simple, but if you do look it would be interesting to see the break down ;).

To be fair WB, R and R backed GB all the way. Sadly, he went down the Peter Taylor route of quantity rather than quality. We now have players who are unable to get basics right.

My issue and it has been for a while, And I was taken to task by this previously.
When we say we want 'investment ' , what we actually want is our own Dean Hoyle, someone to spunk a load of money at us.
    Football isn't self servicing.
Anyone taking us over, I would suggest would need potentially 10's of millions not just the odd few.

Who though could buy out Rupp and have us more successful, it's fantasy football. All an owner can do is provide a decent budget and leave it to the manager/ coach to provide a decent team. Rupp did this in the summer and Bowyer got it wrong with his quantity not quality policy. There is no evidence that Rupp is going to slash the budget for next season and its up to McCall to use the budget wisely.
If there was a takeover all it would be is a local consortium with worries over a deficit and relying on cup runs, we would be no better off.

It took Lawn/Rhodes a number of years before deciding the Germans were the right people to sell to, so I wouldn’t be expecting anything quickly

It wasn't a loan as loans aren't allowed towards the salary cap, they just 'released' a load more shares which then can go 100% on the wage budget so in reality with someone like Lim as an owner they could afford put their budget up to £50m if they really wanted to

When you say budget for next season. Do you mean playing budget or overall.
    Eitherway the pitch is fcuked.
They've already admitted they'd nicked the money allocated for remedial work on the pitch back into the playing fund.
So if they are wanting to ensure the pitch is of preferred standard, then money need to be allocated. I'll take a stab now and say it's now more than what was originally allocated previously.
So the playing budget goes down with money that was originallly allocated to the pitch plus overs I would guess.

Correct and that is how most owners fund. Allocate more share's by nature of imputting (not investing) more money

Indeed they do .. from personal choice and with little expectation of ever seeing it again without an unexpected windfall or some other mug making them an offer they can't refuse. ;)
