Well lets be honest we wouldn't be talking about the Pro's & Con's of Brexit if any of the other parties had got in, as we would have left but still been in the Customs Union and the Single Market.

 

It will be reversed in not too long. I even reckon it will be the torys who do it but mask it as being a win for the UK.

 

It could only be the Tories who reversed it, after the latest rubbish from the Labour party leadership, Starmer pushing to scrap the "one member one vote" for leadership elections, nearly as daft as the Lib/dems manifesto promise not recognising the referendum vote, Labour will be even longer out of government.

 

Theres nothing wrong with what the lib dems did. If anything everyone should take a hat off to them because they were the only party to stand by their convictions even though they knew they would suffer. We live in a democracy and they represented a portion of society. We need everyone to have representation.

 

To go back in the EU is unlikely for many reasons but the two main ones are that a referendum to go back in would have to be won on favorable terms and two the EU would have to make massive concessions to allow us to rejoin including allowing against all its new rules on joining of keeping sterling and reducing the UK contribution, neither will they do ( The French would veto our membership anyway they never wanted us in it to begin with )

 

Another party along with Labour who will help keep the Tories in government for a long long time.

 

There may not be an EU in its present form the way the bully boys France & German are going on.

I have never said I was in favour of pounds and ounces just reporting the change in the law to allow the freedom to now choose for those who want to and the reduction in more red tape and unneeded laws, Metric in most areas is the standard of measurement in most parts of the world apart from the USA, Do not be so quick to assume what people believe, You seem very bitter for some reason and are quick to insult and judge to easily people you do not know, Quite sad really you need to be more open minded and less judgmental which am sure would make you a more rounded person

As I said you seem very Bitter, The question was asked of the people and they made a choice get over it, Over the years things will change some minor some large but that was the choice people made, Fighting a battle that has already been lost seems both a waste of time and a cause of sadness that it cannot be accepted by some
You seem to object to as you say a few people be Allowed a freedom to choose which is very Left wing that you want everyone to conform like socialists prefer
