Bradford City needs winners around them. This losers mentality needs to stop!

 

Totally disagree. I would rather have 13000 fans and be in league 2 under Bowyer, than having Evans at the helm in league 1 with a very divided fanbase. Not that I think he would have kept us up either anyhow

 

Maybe the selections in the first few friendlies will send a message to those he wants rid of. If it looks like they're not going to be involved, they make seek moves elsewhere. There's also the chance Akpan and McCarten could be sent out on loan, so all is not doom and gloom. I'd hope at least one left winger and a central midfielder will join, either on loan or permanent before too long.

 

I’m all for giving him a game but this ‘He was highly rated at Arsenal’ somewhat amusing. He’s had to drop to league 2 to get a regular gig, being supposedly highly rated at Arsenal has no relevance, hence my comment regarding Riley. Our new signing from Walsall was ridiculously highly rated at Wolves, he signed a three year deal with them on the back of it. He’s now with us, his ninth club. See what i’m getting at.

Anybody else watched his 15 minute press conference today? Every time I hear the bloke talk I'm convinced that he's a bloody good fit for our football club.

 

Keeping things in perspective, he's not achieved anything yet but by god, he's going about things the right way in terms of bringing the 'feel good' factor back.

 

Happy that Gary as been given the contract,let’s hope we have a good summer and get things sorted early for next season.

Don't know about that,these players have the quality at least to finish in mid-table but have a mind set of a relegation team with no fight.

It will be the same next season with these losers and if we can't work a way of getting rid of the contracted players then god help us.

Don't forget the loan players are out best players and won't be with us next season,we are stuck with the O'Connor's of this world.

 

Contrary to what Bowyer has been telling us the last couple of weeks, I would imagine he already knows our fate is sealed with this squad, and he is using the remaining games to see who he thinks might be worth keeping. The vast majority, I suspect, he doesnt want. Moving them on will be the hard part of course

 

At least having our fate almost sealed so early it gives him time to.make sure we are as well prepared as possible as possible to make a good start next season

 

I'm sure Wells would have been good without Hanson, but you just have to watch the Burton highlights to see how awesome they were as a pair.

My point is aimed more at people going on about him being highly rated BB. Most players at academy level have smoke blown up their arse from a young age. Its what you achieve, not what you could have achieved. For what its worth i think Anderson will do a job for us, but its similar to the Payne situation, i lost count the amount of times i’ve heard he’s this and that. Counts for nothing if you don’t do it on the pitch.
