This all reminds me of a childrens TV show from the 70's.

So edin sez the playing budget was significantly higher than last season.

    Really, i mean really?

    Anyone actually believe him?

I see alot of lightweights who have previous with staying fit for a season and dont say BOO to the lads as it might affect their confidence especially as halloween is coming up.
    No scaring the horses!

So we've got a significantly higher budget and get we are second from bottom with the worst record in England in 2018. Even if I did believe that bollocks then someone needs lynching for spending that 'higher budget ' on that weak squad.

Agree - the budget comment really make a noose to put around his own neck! To be honest the whole thing looks like a sham of an interview

He comes across as spoilt little child, again he's gone on about a few people calling him and his family names which is obviously out of order. I remember months ago when these horrible pictures were flying around, he threatened to walk away, as if were just a toy that you could just throw away. Which would of affected all of us. Yet he shows no guilt for destroying everything what bradford city was all about. It's not just about results on the pitch, its about the togetherness, the bond that our fans had with the club, that we felt part of.

Fascinating. It is a though Bradford City are unique.
We are the only club with:-
    • tough fixtures,
    • difficult weather,
    • players subject of transfer bids,
    • A Mass exodus of players (why?),
    • A manager who comes and then decides to leave (currently unemployed).
    • Mickey Collins debacle (why!!!).
    • The Under 18’s performance last season.
I just get the impression that the BCST need to go away and think through the responses they received. Had they provided written questions beforehand? It strikes me that the Club already had it’s ‘answers’ ready for them and that they exonerated the owner/club from any responsibility, they played the ‘victim’ role well. It is all about transference (psychological concept) and placing blame with xenophobic fans (which is wrong) and current discontent from the Stands. Clever tactics which may work with some, but frankly I have seen such tactics used time and time again.

I actually do believe him on this particular point re the budget. We wouldn't have been able to recruit Scannell form Town on virtually his previous Championship sized contract without increasing the budget to accommodate that. And probably something similar with Doyle. But it begs the real question which is whether the rest of the budget had to be reduced to allow Doyle and Scannell to be recruited and that has been at the cost of lowering the quality of the rest of the squad? I guess we'll never know the answer to that.

They is a reason Ryan Sparks don't stick around st clubs often. No more than 2 years at the Bulls and Featherstone. Guarantee we will see probably 2 special shirts released. Also ran his own RL club which went out of business

It's nice to see and hear of the investment in the background, pitch, stadium, training pitches etc. But no one cares when the results on the pitch are so poor. If we were in the same position as this time last season, we might think great we are well run and we have clear investment.

However the Collins debacle has put us back 6 weeks and more and we can't catch up. I would have liked to see more pressure on how they came to that decision rather than Grayson episode. Don't care one bit for that,I wanted to know how we reached the Collins decision. Losing Grayson was recoverable but not with our appointment over the summer

We will be running a deficit this year. Even more so now as we have to invest in January

Who the feck are these total idiots in the BCST? Who elects them or gives them the devine right to represent fans?

They should hang their heads in shame for not getting a single straight answer to any of the numerous questions that need addressing.

The BCST are complicit in the current destruction of our club and do not represent me. I am so pissed off by their inadequacies

It's really difficult for the Trust. They could go in with all guns blazing, get abusive, never meet him again.

On the other hand they can try to get some rapport going with him, have another meeting, perhaps influence him in a positive manner - which is what they'll really want to do.

I do know a couple of people on the Trust board and I haven't the slightest doubt they'll have taken a lot of what he said with a pinch of salt - but they'll want to build a relationship.

Whether that's the right or wrong approach is a matter of opinion. IMHO the Edin outers might be able to put him off attending matches, but they won't get him out of BCFC. Someone needs to make him an offer. Let's hope it's not the administrator.

Are these the same same fans who provide a significant amount of income to the club by buying season tickets spending in the ground and redeveloping the scoreboard/ changing rooms
Fans who travel miles from all over to VP fans who have to drive home soaked to the skin after the abject display at Accrington
We got behind the team before it was systematically dismantled we also got behind the manager before he was sacked Give us some kind of a team and we will get behind them again
Classic deflection of blame in my opinion bordering on arrogance
Let's see what effect blaming the fans has on next seasons season ticket sales

    I'm truly lost for words...

    Players, fans, weather, electricity, xenophobia.

The man's delusional. I genuinely think he needs help. He blamed the fans, racists, the leccy bill, a random ball drawn from a bag and the weather for our downturn. If he claims God/The Devil told him to do appoint Collins, we can get him sectioned, right?

There's actually not a lot wrong with the responses, on the surface.

"Edin, why are we so crap?" - "All the good players left."

Well, yeah... but there are dozens of questions to be asked about that.

"Edin, why do fans want you out?" - "Some are xenophobic."

Yeah, well, I'm not xenophobic and couldn't give a toss where you came from - what I do care about is that you're incompetent, not fit to run a football club, have no idea what you're doing, and genuinely have no real answers about why it's all going so very, very wrong.

I'm not suggesting that anyone starts shouting abuse.

Jeremy Paxman was not abusive but he often got answers to awkward questions.

They have done themselves and all of us a huge diservice by meekly failing to extract one single meaningful answer.

A complete waste of an evening and more importantly, an opportunity to start to repair damage lost.

Things are so, so bad, and unlikely to improve long-term, that so what?

Go ahead and alienate the guy.

Cut off all direct communication, what good is that communication anyway?

Edin is simply answering questions with hyper-basic rhetoric, nothing with any substance at all. It's everybody else's fault - it's because the world is stupid. Whatever.

The more often he gets away with this kind of guff, the stronger he'll believe his stance. Genuinely see no benefit whatsoever from this kind of dialogue.
