    Advice appreciated….

So I have enough loyalty points to buy a ticket now, issue is I go with my boy and have done for the past 9 years. It states one per person basis only, so I can only get one for me. I find it slightly baffling there isn’t a provision in place for these circumstances but I know the line must be drawn somewhere otherwise it’ll just end up as being unfair to the majority. Unless I have missed something somewhere?

    Thanks in advance

If you always go with your boy as long as you have bought tickets using the friends and family option he will have exactly the same number of points as you so again using the friends and family you will be able to get two tickets, one per person

I think it is very difficult. If your lad got a ticket in front of someone with more loyalty points than him then they would feel fairly aggrieved.
What I can’t work out is if you go with your son ‘and have done for the past 9 years’, then why doesn’t he have the same number of loyalty points as you?

Only way I could think is if he didn't use friends and family, just bought two tickets

I know there are some on here who like this stuff, but why is Band C only a 10 point Band, whilst Band B and Band D are broader at 20 points?;)

Band A (on sale NOW): 940+ points

Band B (on sale NOW): 920-939 points

Band C (on sale NOW): 910-919 points

Band D (on sale from 9.00AM on Tuesday August 2): 890-909 points

Think I am in Band H:joy:

All about the numbers. If we got 500 tickets that probably took it down to 910

Thanks @Storck@Storck I'll have a look at that tomorrow and see if I can make sense of it

@Bigrod@Bigrod as storck says…I have always just bought 2 tickets using my card, very seldom have I had to use both season tickets to get one per person

I’ll update when I have looked at it again

I understand. I have bought on my ticket for between 1-5 but as you say just on one ticket. I guess it is going to have to be two separate transactions now.

Which for those of you who disagree with like me incurs a £1 web fee for every ticket plus the admin charge for each transaction.

You can only do this when tickets go on general sale. During restricted selling periods you have to assign a ticket to the person getting it.
The moral of this story is to always assign a ticket to the correct person in your friends and family even if you aren’t required to do so.

I wish we still had the old system for tickets via the priority tickets, only because I miss your constant faux outrage at fans getting tickets that apparently shouldn't be getting them.

What’s that got to do with the advice to always assign tickets to the person getting it.
But yes the old system was pathetic and I’m glad it’s gone

Unless I am totally missing a vital point here, your suggestion would not work as I would then have only half the loyalty points I do now, and my son would have the other half (maybe a slightly lesser amount) meaning neither of us would have anywhere near the number of points required for priority

@Storck@Storck and @Bigrod@Bigrod I have looked at the ticketing system until I ran out of patience, from what I can fathom out I cannot use my loyalty points for my lads ticket (so it would be 2 separate transactions) so he would require his own account which absolutely no normal parent would do. I think I don't really have any choice but to try get on the ticketing site at 9am prompt tomorrow and hope by some miracle I get 2 tickets...but I won't bank on it :D

If you use friends and family the points should be allocated even if done through your account

If he has a season ticket he already has an account. You can not use your points for his tickets, you would use his points.

The log on for his account will be his season ticket number and postcode, no spaces if I remember correctly
