Barrow Away Tickets

I've got 40 points back, but still missing 20 from my original total.

 

It’s not a City IT problem - it’s third party supplier solution. Be interesting to see what’s in the contract relating to faults, SLA’s, service credits etc.

 

Ultimately if you outsource a service tho, it’s still your customer base that suffers as result. The fault may lie with a third party but the reputational damage is on your doorstep

 

Forget that!!! Even though (before the glitch) I hadn't nearly enough points for Barrow I still feel indignation at this calamitous catastrophe. I mean we're on the verge of a World War. The planet is burning up and we're seeing a massive cost of living rise. BUT that all pales into nothing compared to losing 20 loyalty points for a few hours.
This goes right to the top. Rupp out! Sparks resign! And Hughes; do the right thing and quit now!
Some of you need to get a grip.

Yes it is as nothing when compared to other troubles in the world, agreed. I think that supporters do have a reasonable expectation that systems introduced by the club should work properly. It's not an outrageous view to hold.

 

And James Mason is nowhere to be seen.

 

Don't you think the club taking down the sale of tickets is a sensible option, whilst the issues are resolved?

For the sake of splitting hairs, not having much else today and being a UAT manager who doesn't want to see the good name of business testers everywhere being unfairly bismirched, I'm going to paraphrase Colleen Rooney and say it's.........SIT.

 

I don't think there's been a time where there haven't been issues with the ticket website. Don't think the club will extend the deal with Talent Sport. I'm on 800 now but my correct figure is 890 giving me enough for Barrow. Ticket sales haven't been as well as predicted as it was expected Band D customers wouldn't get the chance, but from 12 pm yesterday there were over 200 tickets left.

 

I'm back up to 900 points now. Ten more than yesterday but still ten short of my original total.

 

Think a lot of people are waiting for friends / family. I want to go, can get a ticket but wouldn’t be able to take the kids as it stands as they have less points.
It will sell out inevitably sooner rather than later

 

Am glad I paid for a physical season ticket after this mess, The thought of the club getting its IT in order every game does not fill me with confidence

 

I hate to say I told you so but I told you so.

Imagine coming up with an utterly over complicated way of doing the most basic thing of selling tickets and then outsourcing it to someone else and hoping it will work...

Anyway, I'm sure everyone who said "it will be fine" will pop along presently to say there are no issues....
