Whats insulting in there?

The manager himself doesnt seem to know where to play the players he has just signed

He has virtually admitted he signed him to play striker and now thinks perhaps he is probably not the one to play there

Anyone with a knowledge of Lower league football will tell you Gareth Evans has for vast majority of his latter career played in deep roles be that midfield or even right back.

Which leaves us right to ask the question , on what basis was he signed and who signed off or sanctioned it. As clearly someone hadnt done their homework. Given we have no scouting team surely that would have been the management team

Guthrie again has been made done kind of weird target by the fans. Not his fault he was signed and then suffered an injury. Some of the comments on him on here and twitter haven't really been fair but it seems to be the Bradford way. We need someone to blame.
The lad was completely written off before his career here has even started.

 

Is that Jake "significant upgrade on Cullen" Reeves?

 

Midtable sounds optimistic to me at present.

We've the same first choice centre backs who were poor last year and to compound it have no recognised right back.

In Midfield all we've really added is Watt who despite the fanfare is still an unknown quantity. We've also lost the pace of Connolly who was pretty much our only outlet at times last year.

Then up top we've lost our only real goalscorer and at present replaced him with a 10 goal a season at best man in Billy Clarke.

I'm not trying to be overly negative but not only do I not see where we've improved from last term, I actually believe we've potentially regressed.

 

I really hate this about McCall - not so much the reacting to other teams but the needless complications. Can't help feeling he's trying to be too clever for his own good with basic players at his disposal.

 

If we'd had any sort of ambition left at all, we'd have done early business and brought in quality, limiting the exposure to the salary cap before it kicked in.

Internally, we must be delighted with the salary cap. It's the perfect excuse to mask our lack of planning, ambition and strategy.

 

Even though we have written the season off, we have bought our 6 season tickets(including a new one for a 4 yr old). We too are long term supporters and feel that the club needs our support more than ever.

 

I like this Jamie Rayner from Radio Leeds. Not afraid to ask the questions fans want to hear and following up on them too

 

Jesus Christ! Here they go again. Everything Bradford is sh*t. Everything L**ds is the best. How long were L**ds outside the Prem? How many dodgy owners? How many failed managers? Read the recent guff on here and you'd think Elland Road has hosted the world's best football team in the world's best city for the last 30 years. It’s not lack of ambition we suffer from, last few years we’ve been right up there on money spent in each division we’ve been in. It’s lack of competence that we struggle with, no plan and no direction is costing the club.

Here's a stat, from the 1st of January we had played 12 games upto lockdown. In this run of 12 games we gained 14 points, conceded 20 goals and scored 14 with 2 clean sheets. Had lockdown not come and saved our sorry arses those stats would have looked even worse come the end of the season. Just a teeny weeny reason as to why fans are concerned with relatively inactive recruitment, especially defensive and central midfield. But hey, at least we have nice kits so not alls bad.
