Goodness me why bother

 

I too think that to a certain extent this season has been written off. I have thought this for quite a while now, hence my decision not to renew my season ticket for the first time in over 50 years.

There is still far too much uncertainty for me about whether fans will be allowed back in, whether the season will finish etc

 

Cant think off the top of my head when Warnock has help McCall out before , certainly not when he's been in charge here ?
(Know doubt i'll be proved wrong )

Even though we have written the season off, we have bought our 6 season tickets(including a new one for a 4 yr old). We too are long term supporters and feel that the club needs our support more than ever.

 

Scored a few in the Premier League 2/EFL trophy.

 

Danny Lloyd has left Salford. Would be a decent addition here.

We’d do well to get him down in league 2. He’s started in the cup for Wolves and rated by Nuno.
It seems if we can get in wolves ear maybe some type of link up could happen. We’ve took Watt obviously but he was on loan this low down last year.
They are an established premier league club now and we could do worse for loan players. Let’s hope we get him

Danny Lloyd has signed for Stockport from looks of Twitter. Salford fans seem to say he was terrible in L2 for them, he was loaned out to Stockport for back half of last season. Remember one game he had against us for P'boro 2 or 3 year back when he looked incredible... looks like he just has zero consistency, NL might be his level. Going back to where he has been a few times now.

 

Yeah not sure he was the answer either. And was on good money at Salford. Obviously took the pay day and didn’t work on it. 28 now and not gonna improve much more.

 

From people who know a bit more about him and his form last season - no he wouldnt!

 

Noticed some are now at the stage of saying every player who is released 'could do a job here' - we have waited that long for the additions the last thing we want to do now is just add to the squad for the sake of it, they have to be the right players to up the quality in the team

 

Not only that but some people pick up a name out of the hat and when we don’t sign him it’s “we missed out again”

 

That has always been the case and Stuart has always been a bit tongue in cheek. I'm confident that he is dolng a lot more than checking videos and agents reports of players.

Clutching at straws (every pre season), but maybe Macca is waiting for the first game to see who is needed (I know I know, he shouldn't have to wait that long) and hopefully we'll see some recruitment before the league game. As someone said, a real dicking wouldn't be a bad thing to highlight to the board that we need players. I am sure we've used this analogy before a few seasons ago (was it during Hopkins tenure?). Terrible really - hoping that a defeat by a cricket score will prompt our owner into addressing the situation. Sad.

 

As I said earlier in the week I think he will be treating the first two cup games as pre season. He surely knows that the squad isn't ready.

 

What else can he do? Is not like he can be out scouting games himself and given the non existent scouting network at the club I very much doubt he's sifting through piles of scout reports and making shortlists.
