I agree with elements of this, sure.

But who appointed the man that appointed Adams, and why?

When you've worked that out, you've worked out our main issue.

Rupp wants to run everything on a shoestring, from the CEO to the manager to the team.

That's why I blame Rupp and continue to do so.

Were Rupp super dedicated he might make up for his lack of funds. But he isn't dedicated and doesn't make up for it.

Not read the full thread so forgive if I’m going over old ground, fully agree with many Rupp is a problem with little to no investment with regards to not throwing a few quid at a weak league for huge returns should we go up.
But in all honesty I think the main problem unfortunately is DA because I’m damn sure with the wages spent on current gash we could have had a much better stock with better signings, I’m not happy obviously and as gutted as any fan but part of me despite wanting success now says give him a pre season etc. But having said that I just can’t see him succeeding here and would jump at the chance of Flynny or even an inexperienced Jones.

Biggest hint that Adams is clueless is that we're still persisting with long throws despite not having a single player whose throw reaches the six yard box.

 

Have we actually seen these scouts? Have they been named as members of staff on the clubs official website etc? I can’t recall. I don’t think they’ll be on big wages, and possibly they are working on freelance terms. From what I read about our new signings, it’s always “somebody we’ve been tracking for a long time”, which makes me think our new network wasn’t the source of the signings,

Get rid of Adams now and save money later.

 

Don’t get me wrong I can’t stand Adams but how many managers can’t get it right at City. Sort from one season we’ve been crap since Lawn and Rhodes left but yet we seem to be run in pretty much the same way. Budget tends to be up there with top 6 if you believe what people say.

I wasn’t a fan of the style of football under Parky either but the difference was he had winners and defenders who could defend. I’d take a few seasons of dire football to get up a few leagues though.

I really can’t put my finger on what’s wrong at the club. It’s like there’s something toxic here or we are bloody cursed. Are all these managers just that poor even with promotions on their CV’s? I went to the game yesterday to watch a team who had won 3, drawn 1 and lost one in the last 5 games and I had no confidence before kick off that we would win the game…..That says a lot!

That squad can show what it can do once the tactics are right you know going after teams but mr negative doesn’t see that his arrogance won’t allow it
As for the mess he needs to sort out you do realise he’s only adding to it now I mean if he’s bringing in the likes of Robinson and Lavery out to sort this mess out then we really are screwed

The squad have already proved (early season, most 1st half displays) that they are capable with a couple of exceptions of a promotion push
Its 1000% that Mr Adams is failing, his tunnel vision of sitting back on a 1-0 lead and trying to see the game out with half a game to go is astounding, any defence would concede under those circumstances, as has been said elsewhere on this thread other teams know if they are close at half time they are the favourites to win the game second half
His half time talks must be a wonder to behold
Sorry he seems a stubborn obstinate man who closes out any other input but his own how can we expect him to learn with that attitude Was convinced before yesterday he was losing/lost the dressing room, the way he threw the players under the bus and Cookes interview yesterday lends creadance to that Am all for berating players who under perform but in the confines of the dressing room and to those who actually deserve it not on a public platform
Sadly we are stuck with him Mr Sparks can't back down or go cap in hand to Mr Rupp for funds to buy out his contract unless he resigns (which he won't his ego won't let him) we are in for a very bumpy ride

Adams going on about being 6 points off the play offs. Well if the teams in the playoffs win their games in hands we will be 9 points off the playoffs. And there ain't no way this lot are pulling back a three win gap. And as for us deserving to win yesterday and dominating large parts of the game, we'll he's seeing different games to me every week. A good first half does not equal the better side Derek.

 

That first half was the most entertaining and attacking 45 minutes I’ve seen this season. We all feared what would happen next but hoped it wouldn’t. At some stage the players are going to have to say bollocks to this, it’s not working, let’s do it our way. They’ll be damned if they do or damned if they don’t.

Yesterday was the beginning of the end for Adams in my opinion. He’s a lone man with no friends in the dressing room and fewer on the terraces. I have no affinity with this manager or this team and that’s not why I support Bradford City.

End of the season then cheerio.

 

Can you imagine any other team in league two with fourteen thousand fans behind them being told to sit deep and surrender ground. Adams demoralises the players and the crowd and the opposition managers know it too as Crawley's manager stated, going down 1 nil at Bradford City is not a problem, they all know Adams tactics.

Get rid of Adams now and who comes in to replace him?

Just have to resign to the fact that we're crap again this season, doesn't matter who manages us, we'll remain crap until Rupp goes. We've been crap since the German take over. No one can manage Bradford City with an owner like Rupp.

Rupp only cares about protecting his investment, but also lacks the risk appetite to risk investing more to help get us promoted. He'll happily sit watching us flounder in League 2 Mid-table until he can sell us, which given the fact of where we see ourselves, probably isn't gonna happen anytime soon.

We've had no serious buyers who want to buy us for the cold hard cash price Rupp seems to be seeking and Rupp wasn't willing to risk taking crypto currency for us either.

No one wants to buy Bradford City for £5-10 Million in cash and according to Transfer Markt we're worth this now:



We're stuck between a rock and a hard place and doesn't matter who manages us, we'll continue to flounder and be an inconsistent team in mid-table League 2.

Bottom line is, sacking Adams right now won't help. It'll just make thing worse for our final league position in my opinion. Sack him at the end of the season when he fails to deliver the playoffs.

 

Why waste time? Time waits for no one.

 

Can't think of a manager I've liked less in terms of personality.

 

Why wait till end of season we were promised promotion THIS season and wouldn't accept mediocrity many many fans won't stand for the prospect of another khazi league season, season ticket sales will be decimated
This is yet another poor league and under the right stewardship (even as Truman proved last season)
