My post was calling out people saying Rupp is not a problem. Which he clearly is.

For what it's worth, Adams feels like a massive disappointment at the moment, when we desparately need some stability and expert leadership. The guy seems to lack class, publicly slating his players, and his delusional post and pre game comments are baffling.

So we sack Adams which will cost a lot of money to pay him off then we get rid of the 3 scouts he brought in leaving us with no scouts again.
What type of manager do people think we can attract when we are sacking a manager every season and must be one of the worst in English football at giving managers time. Anyone who knew anything about Adams should have known his style of play and how is acts as a person in interviews so this should be no surprise.

 

We sack Ryan Sparks then!

Sparks did say we would have recruitment independent of the Manager and then within 3 months Turnbull is gone and Adams has his 3 scouts in place.

When Adams goes, we're stuffed again.

 

Lesson learnt, don't vote in polls, it can bite you on the arse.

Sparks also said we should be promoted this season.

 

If I’m honest, having met both Rupp and Rahic we were going backwards at a rate of knots while Rahic was involved as the guy was a maniac. To be fair under just Rupp alone the infrastructure of the club has started to improve. My point did say was he an owner we would choose? Probably not. However he is not to blame for the shite that is being served up week in week out under Adams…….

 

We cannot keep on this merry-go-round of sacking managers and constantly re-building. It’s clearly getting us nowhere fast. Time must be given to build the squad and realities checked! We’re a league 2 club for a reason, the past few years have seen terrible decisions made from top to bottom.
Sparks and Adams must be given time to sort the mess. Yeah, the football is shit, but suck it up. It is what it is. Football was shit under Parkinson, but no one cared because we were winning. Give time to Adams and wins will come too. A win today and we’d have been 3 point off the play-offs and a very different feeling. It’s fine margins at this level!

 

I agree Claret Fish that the infrastructure is certainly improving and that has helped with the appointment of Sparkes. However, under Sparkes the football has not improved and Rupp appointed Sparkes.

In theory I agree with you. However, it's really tough to watch this at the moment.

We don't seem to have a plan and our recruitment is shocking.

We're just churning bang average league 2 footballers.

 

And Sparks appointed Adams!!!! Perhaps we needed Sparks to run the back room stuff and someone with a bit more football knowledge to employ the manager……

 

We need Adams gone but it just won’t happen. He’s got a decent contract that needs paying off and until the playoffs are ruled out mathematically he’ll keep saying ‘judge us at the end of the season’.

Yeah it’s tough to watch, but gotta be going for short term pain for long term gains!

RE recruitment, again, time must be given to build the new network. I’m not disappointed by any of the signings we’ve brought in who I’ve seen play. Dion Periera being the missing one ha! We all want a 20 goal a season striker, but they don’t exist at this level so getting a better keeper than we had already IMO was a very clever move

 

Anyone who doesn’t see Rupp as the main problem deserves us at the bottom of league 2, you get what you accept and put up with. No words for some of the nonsense on the thread.
