If the suites did chilli and beers as good as the FC then I might be more tempted to use them. Emphasis on the 'might'. The main stand suite is still a huge soulless aircraft hanger, whatever the food and beer are like.

True. But I'm getting a bit brassed off with the assumption that most 25 yearers have been getting something for nothing all these years.

I get where you're coming from and take your overall point. However, regarding your last sentence about fuel bills, in that light, how is it right that some people are being asked to pay 50% more for their season ticket? In that context it's even worse!

Strange response to Steve's e-mail. He has basically said that 25 yearers are paying for the suite, not the ticket. Which is what @Bronco@Bronco has said all along.

Exactly. Nobody buys a 25 year ST in order to sit in the suites and get a 'free' match ticket thrown in. It's bullshit. We pay to watch our team play.

    Yeah, @Offcomedun@Offcomedun did I think.

Just the general FU and then delegated to "his" team.

I'm not buying it, just because Rupp clearly put a few quid in and we got lucky with Hughes, this chancer is still wingng it.

Yeah, I get that, but by targeting and discriminating against us 25 yearers, this is one decision that shouldn’t have been made. Making us pay 50% more for a suite we cannot have or want has really pissed me off for a deal that has only got a couple of seasons left. Why on earth they cannot come up with a with, or, without suite option is stupid.

My concern is that RS will reply with a straight bat and will waffle on about suite upgrades blah blah blah, without answering/addressing the 50% increase. I hope the chairperson fully understands what the problem is.

I wondered if anybody on here who attends these meetings can ask RS if he is so he’ll bent on upgrading the suites, ask him why he expects those in Midland Road to pay towards it when we have no suite.

A simple resolution is obviously - £120 without suite or £180 with a suite. That way only those who want a suite upgrade are the ones contributing towards a refit, and not those who don’t have a suite or want one.

I’ve sent a detailed email to the supporters board email address above, to give as best I can, the full detail of what they are trying to force upon us. I wanted to make sure they get the full picture. Whether any good comes of this remains to be seen.

I've just renewed, for the first time on DD, on the theory that why should I pay for it all upfront if it's available monthly ? Cost was £151.50 including a "web fee".

That was the original agreement. The last agreement if I remember correctly was part of the exit of administration, so would be binding. We were classed as creditors

I don't have any paperwork, but my recollection is that the tiered percentage scheme proposed by JR was never implemented and that the club is now offering us 25 yearers discounts as a goodwill gesture to loyal supporters rather than as a legal obligation.
I'm fully expecting it to end in 25/26.

The brochure shows that monthly payments were by standing order to 'Bradford City AFC (1903) Ltd No2 Account'.

In the Q&A section, this question and answer may be of interest:
Q What happens if I default on payments in plans 2 or 3?
A The Club will not take enforcement action, though no future season tickets will be issued. If a default occurs, there will be no liability on the purchaser, but no refunds will be made and Game Plan 25 benefits for future seasons will be null and void.

Plan 2 was 5 staged payments of £500 (total £2,500) and plan 3 was spread over 5 years (total £3,000).

I purchased my 25 year season ticket on 24 February 2001.

Very well put Offcomden, we are treated as freeloaders and a liability to the club from some supporters, indeed Mark Lawn seriously considered scrapping them when he joined Rhodes in 2007 but changed his mind. I bought two using cash and a loan so certainly got no refund. We do at least now get the option of suite upgrade which also indirectly gives the club extra cash as my other son who didn’t get a 25 year ticket pays for a suite upgrade so he can sit with us.

Fantastic to see so many of the life blood continuing to support the club. Even when they've been royally shafted.

Great commitment from the 668, I wonder if there's anything the club can do in terms of loyalty points?

It’s dearer as a 25 year ticket holder than if I buy a 60+ as I’m retired? Summat wrong here. I don’t want a suite upgrade and I’m not giving up my seat in Midland Road, so I can’t possibly have a suite option if I wanted it without moving.

But it is a 50% increase on what most of us paid last year. I'm not interested in a suite pass and nor are many others, some of whom sit in a stand where there is no suite!

How about those that don’t want a suite can sacrifice that privilege, pay the £180 and instead receive a £60 voucher to use either in the shop or for cup / away tickets.
