I don’t think that scheme was ever passed officially as we didn’t pay the price as quoted for what division we were in. I think Rhodes abandoned that scheme.

You are right that the "improved" scheme was not voted on, as this was something that Julian wanted to do to improve on the formally agreed deal.

However, the formally agreed deal was voted on as part of the process of coming out of the 'second' administration. I have all the detailed paperwork, plus a couple of additional emails between myself and the Club.

The deal was put to the 862 25 year season ticket holders and as I previously mentioned it was accepted by a ratio of 5 to 1 in favour.

If the Club abandoned 'Julian's special deal' then 25 year season ticket holders would fall back on the formally agreed deal which, for League Two would be a 25% discount on the season ticket price and no 'free' suite, so an adult price of £148.50 (plus £120 if you wanted a suite).

It wasn’t implemented though because when Rhodes launched the first of the cheap ticket rates, the 25 year people had to pay more than 75% for the ticket in league 2 . I remember people bringing this up with the club at the time. We then got offered a suite with technically a free ticket but pay for an upgrade. Surely even the incompetent Rhodes would have written to the people affected by such a change as reducing the lifetime of the ticket which just didn’t happen. I imagine Rhodes intended to implement the scheme you mentioned but abandoned it.

He couldn't completely abandon it, as it has a legal standing. However, he could, and did, offer something better.

And people were written to, in great detail (I have pages and pages of the stuff from the Club).

Well myself and my son definitely received absolutely nothing about reducing the length of years and I remember reading the announcement about the cost depending on which division but it never matched up to the percentage announced. Anyway Rhodes must have abandoned the idea as we are still on track to 2025/2026.

No we are currently on track until 2028/29. As I said, the Club can't abandon a contractual agreement.

Renewed, but I'm not paying £40 for a scarf and hand sanitiser.

Well I hope your right but I’d be happy if it lasts until 2026. As for abandoning a contractual agreement within 3 years of paying £4500 for the two tickets the club were demanding £100 for renewal each season with no suite option then. A friend of mine who bought two for him and his wife was so enraged he never went to City again which was a shame as he was one of those fans that would go to places like Plymouth and Bournemouth midweek.

The difference being the first deal was with a company that has since gone into administration. The last agreement was with the company that is still running the club

He's missed out then as he'd have had far more than his moneys worth had he stuck it out.

I thought there was a number of other benefits including 20% shop discount priority event discounts and names on the retro shirt. I appreciate not everyone will want this but there is more to it than you suggest

The company that owns BCAFC is no longer the one that Julian Rhodes’ promise to 25 year tickets so I guess legally they could say enough is enough but will not want to piss off 850+ supporters.

I’m sure that to this day that Edin called that meeting to announce he wanted to offer a new deal but bottled it on the night. I would expect that from the end of 2025 the tickets will end.

Legally all contracts between the club when the agreement was made are still valid. If not each time a club was taken over every player could walk away. The difference before was that the company had gone into administration

Yes I realise that after administration they could have scrapped them but even now they are at the discretion of the club, even Lawn admitted he wanted to scrap them but changed his mind. I don’t think this alleged Julian Rhodes scheme where we get an extra year for league 2 football was ever implemented and we are at the whim of the owner how long they last. I think they will definitely end 2025/6 season.

We shall wait and see but I would be suprised if they didn't respect the agreement as it would only take one person to take it to court and the club would end up having to spend more on legal fees than what it is costing them

They will respect the agreement but there is absolutely no legal requirement to do so.

The company the agreement was with no longer exists in a legal term, that's why the majority who didn't pay the full amount are no longer being chased.

That was the original agreement. The last agreement if I remember correctly was part of the exit of administration, so would be binding. We were classed as creditors
