    Exactly, it was to help get the CVA through. That makes it pretty binding.

    Launched alongside ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season tickets and available for just £35.00 (+ mandatory £4.95 UK delivery fee.

    Apologies, I was 5p out.

    I went to the 2004 CVA meeting and voted on that but there was no mention of cutting the time by 5 years. I find it hard to believe that 25 year ticket holders already annoyed by having to pay annually would then accept by a 5-1 vote to cut the time. I remember a couple of years after the 2004 CVA we went to a meeting with Bobby Ham and Jim Brown former Halifax chairman to discuss the future of the tickets. Afterwards it was announced that whichever division we were in we paid a certain percentage. Example we pay 75% in league two 50% in league one. This however was never implemented as Rhodes brought in the cheap season tickets so we ended up with a suite and a fee of £110. This has remained since with the fee fluctuating between £100 to £120. At no time did we use this division formula. Even today, if as you say this Rhodes scheme had been passed then we should be paying 75% of the season ticket price £150 but we are in fact paying £120. So in effect we never have used this formula. It is not legally binding, the club can stop it at any time, I’m sure they won’t, but it will end in 2025/6 no matter how many years in league two.

    It doesn't matter whether or not the 75%/50%/25% scheme was implemented as such, it is the one that was voted on and adopted by the Club, in writing, and formed part of the CVA process, that brought us out of administration. I'm sure if anyone had been that bothered, they could have gone to Julian and insisted on paying more and not having the suite.

    The document runs to many pages and deals with the financial and legal implications, as well as laying out the new scheme.

    In broad terms, the scheme:
    • runs until 2019/20, to be extended by one season for each season the Club is below League One;
    • provides a free ticket in the Premier League;
    • provides a 75% discount in the Championship;
    • provides a 50% discount in League One;
    • provides a 25% discount in League Two; and
    • provides no discount in the National League or lower.
    Julian's improved offering, outlined in the Club's letter of 14 March 2006, was described as an "added value" to the agreed scheme, whilst reaffirming that the agreed scheme was the '75%/50%/25% scheme'.

    I'm not sure how much clearer the Club could have been. They have stated on more than one occasion that the agreed scheme is '75%/50%/25%' one and the Club was very clear that Julian's deal was an added value one on top of the agreed scheme.

    Yes, the new arrangements as proposed by JR were part of the CVA discussions in Admin 2 but there is some confusion about whether the 25 Year proposal was ever formally incorportated into the CVA. JR who was by then an ex-owner of the company had no responsibility for the contents of the CVA, that's a matter solely for the Administrator. There are references to various aspects of the CVA in the Administrator's reports such as the amounts paid to general creditors and the arrangements with some of the secured creditors but no reference to the 25 Year proposal. After he bought back the club from the Administrator, I recall JR saying he made an offer to the 25 Yearers which he later described as a gesture to them. But I doubt there would be any legal underpinning to that hence why some of the aspects of his 25 Year proposal have fallen by the wayside.

    I thought I was correct @StaffordBantam@StaffordBantam when I quote 7 years, as I said to our lad at the time I'd be 79 if I was still around.

    It was, as I questioned after the meeting, what was that all about a jolly up for the 25 yearers, and was told Rahic wanted to stop the deal and offer another, hence my comment with regards due diligence they weren't aware of the 25 year deal.

    Absolutely right, it wasn’t formally incorporated in the CVA. The deal will end in 25/26

    Good luck with your legal action in 2025/6 when the deal ends.

    As you say we were classed as creditors, at the time the club asked two of our biggest earners to waver part of their ongoing contracts Carbone and Ward, they said they would but us 25 yearers had to be part of the deal and be classed as creditors as you say.

    Jeez. I assumed they bundled it together with the ST and you were only charged a single delivery fee. That's not great by the club tbh.

    So did you receive your dividend payout for your creditor claim? All those that were not dealt with separately revived 1% pay out of their claim, so it would be about £25.

    That is the point I'm making. We were not due anything as there was the agreement in place as part of the CVA, otherwise we would have been unsecured creditors. In the first one the clause 7.4 allowed all season tickets, both one year and long term, to be honoured and as such rights to dividend were waived. Unfortunately details of the second CVA are not lodged at Companies House and I can not find my copy of the paperwork

    Probably to stop them having to reply to every person asking if they can just collect it

    Wouldn’t it sound friendlier if it was noted ‘due to XXXX these products are not available for collection and a charge of £4.95 will be applied to cover the cost of delivery’
    Just a small gripe of mine that thing generally seem to becoming increasingly ‘authoritarian’ - probably me just being too sensitive.

    £4.95 for a plastic card that slips into a normal envelope is worse!
