I agree we voted to accept the CVA in 2004, Julians price proposal depending on which division came a couple of years later but as I maintain was never implemented and neither was the deal where the longer we remain in league two an extra year was added. Hell with City now being regularly in league two the 25 year tickets would be like the social care problem with the government, it would last indefinitely if that scheme had been used. They will end in 2025/26.

So how was it covered in CVA 2?

There is no specific reference to the 25 Year STs in the final list of creditors in the CVA for Admin 2. They are not Secured Creditors; they are not Preferred Creditors and they are not part of General/Unsecured Creditors. That means the approval of the 25 Yearers to the CVA was not required. In practical terms that really means the club was obliged to do nothing for them as part of the Administration process and anything the club chose to do later was a matter for the subsequent owners of the club to decide once it had exited Administration. I guess that's why JR referred to honouring the 25 Year STs as a gesture.

So season ticket holders were not mentioned anywhere in the CVA?

There is no reference at all to any ST holders in the final version.

And that doesn't surprise me at all.

And yet they got a clause of their own in the first one.

I don't have any paperwork, but my recollection is that the tiered percentage scheme proposed by JR was never implemented and that the club is now offering us 25 yearers discounts as a goodwill gesture to loyal supporters rather than as a legal obligation.
I'm fully expecting it to end in 25/26.

You should try being a mortgage broker and having to deal with Santander and their curt way of messaging !!

I've no intention of doing any such thing. As far as I'm concerned if the Club want to bring it to a close they can.

I was responding to questions that were being raised about the 25 year tickets and, as I had kept all the paperwork, I had the information.

But would you view the deal, that Julian put to 25 year tickets holders, as a unilateral contract, especially as it was voted on and ratified by the 25 year ticket holders?

I have a 25 year season ticket and if I'm honest it's now 20 years ago so whatever I get at this stage is fine.

The first admin wanted to keep the tickets valid as it was still pulling in direct debits from the scheme, plus the value of it as a creditor helped push toward the CVA. The second admin wasn't as keen as all the money had been collected which is why many random scheme cropped up out of everywhere.

All these votes and deals put forward were taken without everyone having a say or being involved in discussion. To my memory there was a small amount of fans consulted and put forward to speak and represent everyone.

Wasn't the last one to give everyone a free day out in the executive seats with a three course dinner, which to my knowledge never happened.

So was there no mention about season ticket holders, 25yr or otherwise, in the second CVA?

I've no idea since I don't know the context or the timing of that discussion or the role of JR in those discussions with the 25 yearers. The important question for JR at the time is whether it was binding on everybody. It's a bit late for that now! ;)

I think it was right for JR to have that kind of discussion once he had re-purchased the club and beome the new owner. But certainly there's nothing to suggest it has any relevance or importance within the Admin 2 CVA process itself.

As far as I remember it there were no specific details in the CVA of 2004 as to the long term outcome. Various schemes were proposed later especially after the meeting with Bobby Ham and Jim Brown who were assisting Rhodes at the time. Nothing though was implemented until Rhodes offered a suite in return for £110. It’s been like that ever since with the annual price fluctuating between £110 and £120

Annoying that Kroll(?) didn't log the CVA details for the second one at Companies House, or they haven't been put online, like the first one.
