    Hes well within his rights to sit on his hands drawing on the rest of his two year deal, or agreeing a move where someone takes it over, or lastly coming to an agreement for City to pay him off the remainder of his deal and “ free to find another club”.

    The other one might be “ mutual agreement” but I think that’s covered in option 3?

    There was apparently a cryptic post on Twitter, with Hughes driving a lorry, with the caption “where is Hughes off to?” (Paraphrasing here). Could be picking up a player who has the surname of a town/city.

    Telford?

    Anyone else we know of who has a geographical surname? (Other than Michael Bolton, Tony Blackburn etc etc). Please not Luke Cornwall.

    There's a tiny village near Blencathra in remotest Cumberland where it would be sooo easy to get lost! Maybe Hughes isn't driving to collect somebody but is intent on dropping somebody else off?

    36. It's a lazy rumour to be fair. He's being out in Greece and Cyprus last 6/7 years but may be looking to come back and get settled

    Which also has what must be the only drag line museum in the country, as well as a narrow gauge steam railway.

    I was lucky enough to have a ride on the footplate when we visited. According to Higher Authority I had a grin a mile wide.
