Whose most likely to be a match winner and gets us the goals that win games?

Promotuon comes before selling Watt for £250k to someone like Wigan or Charlton.

 

He's picked up two injuries at unfortunate times which have probably not given him/us the chance to see how good he is. On both occasions he showed good promise in a couple of games but didn't quite get enough of a run of games to show if he should be in the team full time.

I'd like to see him feature in a few pre-season games to check fitness and see how he goes from there. He may have to wait for a chance if Hughes brings in new signings but maybe the early season Cup games are a chance for him?

 

Wouldn’t want to test Finn as a centre back and very unlikely he’ll ever play centre back for us and as he’s only ever played right back for us that’s surely where you’d place him in the squad. Doubt we’ll see much of Threlkeld in either position but again he’s mainly played right back for us.

 

Correct. If both remain they are right back options in the main.

 

They’ve been out of position that’s why, that said I do hope Threlkeld is moved on and Finn loaned out neither are good enough imo.

 

There is potential In FCD. He just has a habit of switching off at the wrong moment. Not ideal when your a defender but he’s still young an he will learn from his mistakes as he gains more experience

 

If think we can safely add to that with the simple fact of he's clearly not a RB I'm hoping MH Is experienced enough to see this and not go there even as a back up in that that position.

Ridehalgh linked now with return to tranmere. Apparently spoke to tranmere fan himself. If he goes deffo need two full backs

 

That would be a shame. He's replaceable but shown to be more than good enough so it would be another position where we'd need a certain starter. Would also worry that we're getting to the point where more than half the starting 11 will be new and may take some time to gel.

 

We need 2 more full backs anyway

 

Ridehalgh is a decent LB for this level. But he can’t be relied upon. Ideally we need someone better

As for Threlkeld, he can go. Swap deal or not. No big loss

Still need another CB, RB, CM an a Couple of Wingers on top of that

it’s the beginning of June bud come the seasons start we will be up to speed ........... least we are getting our players in early rather than panic buying in late August can see at least another 5/6 players in the door come the end of the month ......... in fact I bet there here already but they like to drip feed us to get us going don’t be decked if two major ones are announced during the last week of season ticket sales

 

That was a hastily rewritten tweet after they initially posted that Morecambe had made enquiries about Robinson as well as Oscar. It was pointed out to them that a) we released Robinson and b) he's no Lee Angol.

 

Ridehalgh...no great loss. 31, perennial lower league player. Adequate back up.

We need better than him and Hendrie if we are serious about promotion.
