Good signing I reckon, he only joined Vale in January so had a limited time to make an impact, involved in most games between then and the end of the season and scored in the playoff final, happy with that.

 

Would y you rather see him play before commenting. How many had Salah scored at Chelsea before joining Liverpool? Don’t bother… 2 in 13! See my point?

 

He is very highly rated

a lot of people talking about him making the step up to Huddersfield first team next season.

Love the whopper on the Vale forum who said Bradford is where Vale careers go to die giving Jones and Hornby as examples, nothing to do with them being injury prone and shit then!

Let’s ignore Lee Mills and Mark Marshall who went on to far bigger and better things with us.

 

Maybe but might be worth looking at how many the likes of Mullen and Telford were getting at this level at his age. Plenty of scope for development and played a lot of games second half of the season. I’m happy with this as long as it’s permanent not a loan, about time we started to develop an asset or two or our own.

 

Kian Harratt seems highly rated by Vale fans. Dont know much about him but I don't think you can put too much store in just the goal return of a 19 year old is his first full league season.

People need to get a reality check sometimes. If he was good enough to make the step up now he wouldn't be loaned out to a league 2 club. Could well turn out to be a good signing if true but players don't go out on loan if they are deemed.good enough to compete for a first team place. Not aimed at yourself by the way.

 

Puzzled with this one if true.

If he is 'highly rated' cannot imagine Huddersfield selling him at this stage, so you would imagine loan. If it is a loan signing, you would have thought he would have stayed at Port Vale?

 

Feels to early in the summer for loans but maybe it’s to get the players we want, don’t know tbh suppose we’ll find out soon.

 

He's under contract at Huddersfield until 2025. Maybe they feel a full season at league 2 will be better for his development at this stage, given he only went to Vale in January.

 

Well I was half right. Signing today. Not the player I was told but I did hear Harrats name mentioned elsewhere.

 

He knew where the net was for the under19’s!

32 goals in 47 for the under 19’s at Huddersfield.

City vent tweeted 3 names earlier that they said had signed and then the tweet was quickly deleted. One of the names was Emanual Osedebe who Sergio mentioned the other day, the other 2 were Richie Smallwood and Timi Odusina. Time will tell whether there is anything to it or not.

 

Vale are signing Dom Telford by the looks of things so makes sense that they wouldn’t renew the loan.
