Which is why I questioned it, but apparently our latest IDK knows better.

 

I can understand supporters frustrations in the club in certain topics, certainly based on the clubs sad journey in the last 10 years ago. However it’s hard to deny there has been quite some off-field progression since Sparks has come in.

I can’t speak for recent match day experience, in my time still living in the UK +5 years ago it was miserable. However the fact there’s already investment and improvement highlights one area of progression.

Ultimately it’s on the field which matters - but the commercial side can only be deemed profession and success from what I see so far from Sparks.

Hmmm not really. Yes, we have •partnership agreements” but we are not really advancing that much out of Bradford companies in the commercial space. It’s all same old, same old near enough.

Key things like owning something hasn’t been addressed.

On the pitch the club is a joke(hope for better this season)

To be fair, @Fordy117 is right. We’re not progressing on the pitch at all.
We’re in the same position - give it one more season, see how we go before judging.
We continually fail or underachieve, then meekly give it one more season again.
It’s scandalous that we are where we are. We are where we as a club deserve to be, but that’s entirely down to the mismanagement on the playing side year after year.
I’ll be there on Saturday but not very confident we have addressed last season’s misgivings

 

Don’t understand this let’s Praise someone for a quarter of their job but 3/4 of their job is failure or not going anywhere!

It’s like some hang on to that little bit of positive news without looking at the bigger picture.

Gets to ground with app to find that the process is slower than before and takes longer to get into the ground. Get in the ground to find the toilets disgusting and no hot water.

Seriously, this praising for little things highlights we are acting small as a fan base. We should always want better!

 

I can't see how last season was progress either, progress would have been promotion that didn't happen
Yes we finished higher up the league but the history books will still say season 23/24 we were a L2 club
Finishing in a failed play off place means absolutely nothing look at Stevenage last season and the season before
Until we get promoted our club is unquestionably failing on the pitch regardless of our off pitch activities
I've been giving it the "we will get promoted next season" well over 50 years now it seldom happens
This season am struggling to muster much enthusiasm although like you I will be there more in hope than expectation
The first few games are vital, a bad start will turn the VP atmosphere toxic regardless of the number of names/sponsors on the shirt
Success or failure first and foremost happens on the pitch
We will soon know if MH has "Seen the light"
