At that rate it we could average two or 3 managers a season it’s ludicrous. At some stage a manager has to be given time and hysterics from fans ignored.

Really don't see it making much difference who the manager is
Whilst we have a disinterested owner and a CEO actively looking t leave ( thank goodness )
    Nothing will change

I'm as frustrated as anyone with McCall, but what would sacking him at this point really achieve?

Rhodes interview makes clear that the club are approaching this season on the basis of treading water. There's no real plan or ambition build a promotion winning side this season. Its going to be a tough watch and the constant changing of systems and strange selections from McCall will continue to grate - but any replacement will have the same mandate for this season.

The whole club needs a complete reboot from top to bottom in every single dept. Simply changing the manager and expecting a significant change in fortune against the backdrop of everything else wrong with the club, is unrealistic.

Nope, I don't want him gone. I've said that elsewhere. I too didn't want Macca but he is here now.

The merry go round of managers ain't working.

If there was any improvement however small you could give them time for the improvements to work and gather pace, However when it is obvious you are going backwards you must act quickly, The club comes above any loyalties to a manager

I’ve lowered my expectations for this season. Don’t think we will even make a play off push. Mid to lower end of the table but wouldn’t even see the point in sacking McCall at this stage. McCall will do enough to keep us up (horrible to even think I know) but we will get enough results against the bottom 6-8 sides and Southend and Scunthorpe look that bad with only one relegation place up for grabs we should be ok.
With no new CEO yet a new manager would only be hit with a frustrating season with someone else’s players and a January window with no money to spend. I’d like to get this new CEO in place ASAP. What are we waiting for now? It’s a worry it’s someone inexperienced with Rupp asking Rhodes to hang fire for now.
A new good CEO could start planning for the new season and the summer window right now. Draw up a short list of managers and staff he wanted and go from there. Start sounding out targets if they didn’t rate McCall. We need a plan badly. We are getting no where currently with a worse squad nearly every summer.

I wonder if McCall would benefit by realising things aren't working
and try a different No2 instead of his mate KB ?

Better to put loyalty aside for his No2 and retain it for the club?

If it still doesn't work it's time to acknowledge being a manager
    is'nt right for him.

Change the manager as much as you like. If he isn’t given the tools to work with by a CEO & owner then it will continue to be a revolving door at City. Cut the rot out at the top now. Tell us who this new CEO is and let him get on with the job.

Agree thoroughly with the first part. As for the second part, feedback in whatever form it takes has to be considered but not ignored. They do assist in paying the bills

You are right the change in CEO needs to come as soon as possible, It would lift the club and put pressure on McCall instead of having his friend as his boss, It may actually motivate him to improve, It looks like this season is becoming a standstill season so what better time?

I agree but threads like this after a bad defeat following a couple of good results is hysterics. Yes there have been poor performances amongsT some good stuff. I agree about some of the managers failures but he needs time to build consistency

I agree with you on this but what I don't want is for the bar to drop so that it's so low that failure is seen as impossible.

I don't want to get to 3 weeks before the end of the season and the usual McCall apologists (where is @Ricc@Ricc nowadays?) to come back with the line that he's avoided relegation and needs another shot so we given him another season.

If he stays on and we tread water there needs to be some sort of understanding that this is it. No more. Of course if he turns it around and does well than thats a different story.

Meltham Massive says the following about Teflon "He might be a fourth rate manager ..." and yet still thinks we should keep him! Truly astounding. Teflon is not only a fourth rate manager. He is a fourth rate manager when compared to managers in League 2.

Time to rip the plaster off.
