They don’t have to do anything. Of course the companies or football clubs who don’t listen to their customers will suffer the consequences. But if they have a vision they want to follow its entirely up to them

And unless the First Team are entertaining and attracting the support thus the finance its a short cut to disaster you can't have that kind of ethos unless you have a multi millionaire backer who is prepared to sink the money into the all important first team

Ask any successful business man if you don't listen to your customers (the fans) then you will be the loser Think of the companies that have gone to the wall Woolworths Toys r us Maplins etc bet the directors of those companies wish they had listened and realized their mistakes Sadly football has become a business only the strongest most adaptable will survive.
Still time to change ( I hope)

You see that's the sort of comment I find hard to believe from someone who has supported the club and been through what we have in the past, Richmond had a vision and it nearly cost us our club but because he wanted to go down the road of buying Internationals and proven Premiership players rather than keeping that great work ethic and togetherness of the previous season ETC we nearly lost our club, I just can't follow your logic.

For the avoidance of doubt! Here is the initial statement. Nothing about young players there. States 'No Big Changes'.

Rahic said: “Both myself and Stefan have a background in business and sport, and after looking at a number of clubs in England, Bradford City had the potential and fan base that interested us most.

"We do not have plans to make big changes but to work with the existing structure. We have seen the way the club and fans interact and the model of affordable football is very important to us.

“I met with Phil (Parkinson) this morning and we had a very encouraging discussion about the future.

“We understand there is a lot to do over the summer and we must manage expectations of the fans in the short term.

“We agreed the season-ticket prices before we took over because we fully support the idea of cheaper ticketing and having witnessed games here at the stadium we know how passionate the fans are.

“We are looking forward to working with everyone associated with the club and respect its traditions.”

Mason added: “Both my team and I will be giving our new owners all the support the club need to succeed. I’m sure the fans will do the same.

“It's a testimony to how we have developed over recent years under the stewardship of both Julian Rhodes and Mark Lawn that the club is an attractive business proposition.”

Because it’s different to the norm and you don’t agree with it doesn’t mean it can’t work. You or me might have other ideas but we haven’t the money to implement them

    POTY do...

Opening highlights video skipped from the first half
Of the season to pre Wembley last year highlights - so that’s good.

And in big news - mark lawn is here on the Mitton group table. This could be excellent

Not at all you seem to be happy with whatever comes out of these guys mouths, my above might seem a little knee jerk, God I hope I'm wrong because once our club starts on the long slippery slope we either get lucky with a new manager and climb back slowly but surely our they other isn't worth thinking about, even if it is their money they should not put our club in jeopardy, the next 4/5 weeks are going to be very interesting one way or another.

You say above it's because I don't agree, they tell lies why should I now think anything they say is true.

Don't necessarily disagree. Apart from "terribly wrong".

What happened is that we got a few injuries in the last positions we could afford, which led to results deteriorating, confidence dropping and then team spirit dropped due to an 'incident'

Hardly anything, that a club can't come back from. Let's just shrug our shoulders, admit it was a season where everything went wrong (Chicksens horrible early season injury, the bizzare mis management of Reeves's groin, a great centre half arrives and then also gets a season ending injury) and that we've all had spells when we can't by a break

Next season everyone starts again. The slates wiped clean. Some fans on these board's seem to be in a permanent state of trauma and then wonder why some of the players wander around like that as well

Yes. A terribly frustrating season, but these claims aluding to there been something badly wrong, that we're doomed to a relegation, would be laughable if I didn't feel sorry for those who are in such despair after 'only a top half finish. How we do next season will depend on the number of characters we have on the pitch and how well the manager manages.

As I've said many times, go back to our 2007 to 2012 L2 days and that's real despair

Or at least lets judge once we've got a manager and the starting 11 to actually pick on
