    Agree with a lot of that Wxm80, but from my point of view, Mullin dived (as he does) and was looking for the penalty - should have been booked without a doubt. Canon was it who blatently elbowed Richards in the face just before half time which resulted in a bloody, bent nose and closed left eye, should have had a straight red, again no doubt about that. The foul on Cook for the penalty - another red surely.
    I thought Wrexham played some good stuff and always looked dangerous but without troubling our defence and the superb Sam Walker.
    We all have a biased view of our teams and the opposition, but come on - you lost and we won - accept it and move on as we have had to do many times!!

    I used to go with the ctc 73 at about 14 ish often with Geoff Wilson then "progressed"to patsy's buses or the City flyer 500 seater trains

    Yes those are the trips. Do you remember when/ if CTC rented the old church hall or whatever it was on Cornwall Terrace, I’m sure they did for a short period .Once the Edwardian club?

    Yes I used to love playing the bar billiards in there. Didn't it become bibbys after that

    Once went on a Sunday afternoon to bibbys when the pubs shut at 2 the place was absolutely crawling, darednt drink the draft so it was cans of red stripe but yeah some of the clientele were unique
