It's really something isn't it when the owner of the club we have just beaten takes the time to commend us but our own owner can't be arsed.

Halliday ran McLean out of the game. Tomlinsons distribution was poor for a change. Gilleard was excellent at LWB and McDonald calm our play down. We were much improved second half. I would say Young looked a handful.
Cook barrelled his way through their defence in anger after his poor penalty. It was a determined effort.

If by a 'small group of breakaway rebels' you're referring to the new Independent Supporters Group then they appear to have done more in the past week or so than came out of the Radio Leeds Fans Forum. They've already accumulated 700 supporters which already makes it the largest City supporter group. They've forwarded a letter to Rupp together with hundreds of questions from individual members in order to make him aware of the disquiet amongst the fan base and to engage the owner in some discussion on the direction of the club as he sees it. Who knows whether they'll be successful or not but personally I wish them well. If not, who knows what the club's future will be without a new leadership whose vision extends beyond simply making the books balance.

    Away end. .. bedlam.

Not the greatest attraction on the eye but take the points. KMc excelled when he came allowing us to get further up the pitch and squeeze the space that Wrexham had in the early part of the game.
Penalty looked a tame effort but Cookie made up for the miss with a good reactional finish.

Platt, Walker and KMc stood out and very impressed with 29 Bennett for them. Felt Wrexham were bang average in all fairness.

    Nice journey back home now.

What is Alexander's obsession with Odour? He fails to offer anything at all. Surely Bobby would have been a better option. Another frustration is leaving Macdonald on the bench. He's the only one who understands that keeping the ball on the deck and passing to feet is the way forward. He has to find a way to put him in the starting 11, but I'm not optimistic. Great result though, let's hope we can follow up.

Proud to show my support for the new group of over 700+ supporters who have taken 'limited' action at this stage to show our displeasure at how OUR club is being run. Rupps operating criteria is already failing, by Sparks own admission on average salary budgets from when he took over to now. It is not working now. To do nothing is to go backwards...we have seen it over the last years....

I applaud the Bradford City independants. They have galvanised the City faithful who are sick and tired of being in this league and the BS and lack of honesty coming out of VP. We are being treated as the cash cow. We see the ones that are keeping this club going not Rupp or Sparks but us the City Fans. We now know that our plan as such is not to achieve promotion but just to remain in the EFL and live within our means.

Yes there are risks to any action that undermines the ST sales. My question to all the fans is fairly simple; Do you want to carry on like this? I don’t, I think we are capable of much better.

Fair play to Cook, that was a cracking turn around their central defender

Cooks turn for the goal was top quality but also a lot of credit goes to Mcdonald for battling away to win the ball back. He didn't really have any right to win it.
We've not done enough of that recently.

We could do but that you're missing the fundamental point that to date Sparks has been delivering to Rupp's agenda. Why would he want to get rid of him? Rupp's priorities are to avoid relegation and to have a sustainable financial structure. That's one where he doesn't have to dip into his own pocket to fund a black hole. That was all confirmed by Sparks at the fan's forum although some had been making that point for a long time. Having a top 7 budget or even getting promotion are incidentals to Rupp. He has very different priorities to the fans. Sparks has achieved and continues to achieve Rupp's own priorities. Why would Rupp get rid of Sparks? We the fans have ensured he wouldn't have to do that.

The risk for Rupp is that the number of supporters buying STs for next season declines to such a level that the cost base has to be reduced with a potential reduction to the playing budget to keep the club's books balanced.. If for example, the playing budget budget has to be reduced by too much then relegation could become an issue which would impact on Rupp's own priorities. Sparks will then really have his work cut out to please his boss.

Remember last season when Cook would create goals from nothing? How I miss that Andy Cook. Nowadays, he can't be bothered to even run

Lewis was a great shot stopper, but never had much confidence in him defending corners.

Walker has been quite commanding and calm from set pieces so far for us

At least you didn't have to put up with the Wrexham commentator all day ffs.

So you support constructive dialogue with Rupp and yet mock the group who are trying to initiate this and make something happen!

Bet you win every argument you have as you back both sides!
