There were several things the ref got wrong in that game, for both sides but a few ultimately decided the result.
Why he gave the drop ball to your keeper before you scored is only known to him, we had possession when he blew the whistle to stop the game. So that's anyone's guess.
Foul on Elliot Lee in the build up too. When you've given a penalty like that how can that not be a foul too?
And if yours was a penalty then so was Mullin's in the first half. I'd say they both were. If its not a penalty then Mullin dived and should've been booked.

On another day we win that 3-1. We dominated and you offered very little attacking threat throughout. But fair play on seeing the game plan through.

We're now about to see what Parky and these players are made of. I'm not too down as these results happen sometimes and its not as if we didn't dominate, just couldn't score.

Yes the ref was bad but the stats show he gave you more leeway. Richard’s our left wing back is suffering a black eye and a swollen eye that he can’t see out of and a wonky nose.

Parky will eventually dig you out if this hole so I wouldn’t worry. Not sure why you think you should have won 3-1. I thought we played much better in the second half and put in a gritty and determined performance. As your owner congratulated us on.

You got beat because once Fletcher went off you had little up front . You won’t get anywhere with Tozer in the back three, he’s not a centre back. Ours are slow, we should know. Watch Cook turn Tozer for the build up to a goal. Lastly McDonald didn’t foul Lee, he out muscled him!

Mullins doesn't help himself at both home and away games he was throwing himself to the ground at every opportunity.
Parky said you lost the game because of your inability to put what chances you made in the net, but looking at the stats although you had most possession we had more shots on target and made your keeper work more than Walker.
You've watched Wrexham long enough to now your next game could be under par but you come away with 3 points, Saturdays game won't define your season, good luck till the end of the season I'll always have a soft spot for Phil Parkinson and his crew for those fabulous 5/6 seasons at Valley Parade, not only because of the results and success he brought but he got us fans back onside.

Replayed the goal again and just noticed when Cookie scored someone near you top left of the picture threw a blown up sheep in the air what do you think they were trying to say .

 

We have had more and better chances than plenty opposing teams this season and haven’t taken. It was a nice change to be the other way in this match

 

Agree far from a dirty game and the foul count was 19 against Wrexham and 5 against City not forgetting 3 yellows for City players and none for Wrexham, some would suggest the ref was a homer..............................not me of course although maybe his name Ben Thomas Speedie gave it away.
