    Ok then.

Why did the best player at Aberdeen move to Salford City in Non league?

    Why is shi&e O'Connor here?

Only 3 teams in Scotland are decent. The rest are Micky mouse shi&e.

It absolutely is Edins fault. He bought the shite unbalanced squad we have now, sacked a good manager and alienated an arguably better one after one meeting, alienated all the long serving members of staff behind the scenes and dismantled a play off reaching team cos he thought he could do it better. it took us having statistically the worst professional football team IN THE COUNTRY for him to realise he wasnt a fecking football manager and appoint hopkin. And some people on here are expecting more or less instant turnarounds.

    Not sure about that :
    Shrewsbury away won 1 - 0.
    Barnsley home lost 2 - 0.
    Southend away lost 2 - 0.
    Burton home won 1 - 0.
    Wycombe Wanderers home lost 2 - 1.
    Fleetwood away lost 2 - 1.
His success at Livingson means nothing, if Hopkin keeps us up then most of the above is irrelevant as he will get the chance to build a squad, not sure how easy it will be to get the likes of Reeves, Wright, Patrick, Riley, Jones etc off our books because they certainly won't be in his future plans with regards playing for Bradford City.
I'm not sure your highlighted comment above is correct, why shouldn't his tenure so far as Bradford City manager be questioned ?.

He went to Salford because Salford pay League 1 wages. No other reason.

What is your obsession with tagging Ewan and Jason M into so many of your posts?

Because he's had 0 input into building the squad, has come in part way through the season and has had probably the worst chairman in the country in terms of basic competence as much as anything above him for the vast majority of his time here. Don't forget how quickly parkinson scarpered and how grayson turned down this job permanently becauseof the working conditions. What do you honestly expect him to do this season given the circumstances he inherited. As far as I can see hes made as good a go of it as pretty much any other manager we could have got, so why would you question him?

Edit: Also mate, did you go to any of those games because I did and we were fecking horrendous. Some of the most limp dick pathetic football ive ever seen from a city team and thats saying something

For me, this is the issue.

Its all well and good people saying hopkin as had a bad time of it etc, but id say 20 out of 24 teams in this league would love a front like that. Its the league one equivalent of the halle orchestra and still hopkin cant get a frigging tune out of it.

    Keep us up ?.
He's had 37 games, as Ive posted Im not calling for his head, but if he fails to keep us in league one I don't think Ill be by myself calling for a new manager, I don't often agree with @Fordy117@Fordy117 but he's quite right when he says its a result based job.
Are we seriously saying the squad he has is no better than the likes of Wimbeldon, Oxford, Shrewsbury, Rochdale etc, sorry but I can't agree that if David Hopkin takes us down his job is safe.

See you've edited your post and added a bit at the bottom, I find your final comment a little insulting, but you'll learn when you've been on here a while just who do go to games and who don't.

Who else could we get, who else would we get, whats the point going through more upheaval without giving yet another manager the time to properly implement anything. Hopkin got Livingston relegated before he got them promoted because in his words (not verbatim) of how fecked the club was when he came in. Hes got to be given time to do his thing cos all hes doing this season is firefighting. I really think Hopkin is in the parkinson mould in a lot of ways and could be a really good long term manager for us if we give him time to actually build something. This is an opinion thats shared by a fair few figures involved with the club past and present so its not like im suggesting something crazy.

It wasnt meant to be insulting bud, i was just trying to hammer home how god awful i thought we were at the start of this season compared to now. If you look at my account bronco you'll see ive been on here since the forum started and I was also on C+B, I just rarely post anything unless something gets me riled up! :)

For what its worth I agree , He needs to be given a chance with his own squad whether in this league or not

I personally rate him and he needs a chance to sharpen his tools and go again next year

    I agree with both @king karl@king karl and @YungNath@YungNath.

We need to build. C’mn most managers have errors in them, I do not think he needs the sack if he fails to keep us up. If he does keep us up he deserves the equivalent of a football medal for performing a miracle. In September I honestly though we would probably go down with a new record of the least points such was the absolute shambles the club were in. Let’s have no knee jerk reactions.

I also think he is very similar to Phil Parkinson he seems to be a manager who likes strong characters in his side, I believe that's a good basis for any one in management football or otherwise.
But if we are comparing David Hopkin to Phil Parkinson we have to question both managers first season, both had around the same number of games to play Parky 41 and Hopkin 40, Parky had the the luxury of loan market where as Hopkin doesn't, so lets hope David Hopkin keeps us in league one then I would expect Stefan to keep him, not to sure that will be the case should we be relegated.
