Yes it is a good read, most of it already known to most of us though I think?
I have faith in Hopkins in keeping us up this season though it could be tight, yes he' not perfect but I don' think he takes any crap off anyone and I think we need to be patient with him and hopefully he can get more of his own players in during the summer to begin our assault on promotion to the Championship! !!
Rahic undid a heck of a lot of the foundations at Valley Parade during his time with us sadly.

The article, as others have stated, is old news we all know. It's interesting that Parky jumped ship straight away, Stu pretty much wanted to walk, Grayson did...but DH sat through an interview and thought that this job is for him! Yep it's Edin's madness that has got us in this position, but DH is not entirely blame free.

Uninspired signings, long ball tactics and predictable substitutions have kept us in the relegation zone.

 

Depressing but not surprising. And to think some continued to defend Rahic until the bitter end. One or two defend him even now. Shame on you for your role in enabling the mess we're now in.

I stand by it 100%. The contingent of support we have that embraces this ideology of only ever looking at things through rose tinted spectacles, willing to back anything and everything that the club does 'because that's what supporters should do', refusing to challenge key decisions and actions taken by the club and who believe that cheap tickets and 'just being grateful to have a club to support so get behind it', is the way forward, are a significant factor holding back this club.

Rahic's conduct was open to public forum by many, for a long while before he was ousted. Many of our supporters have genuine contacts within and around the club, laying their concerns bare here and on other forums. Professionals associated with the club made thinly veiled comments about what was happening, with many of the decisions and actions performed at the behest of Rahic for some time, speaking for themselves. If more had opened their eyes and displayed some critical thinking, without rejecting EVERYTHING as pure speculation, maybe he could've been run out of town sooner and left a smaller blast radius of destruction as a result.

When someone leaves where you work or worked with and you blame them for all the mistakes or failure of a business.

Hopkin is to blame for our current situation. We can't keep on bashing on about Edin @Jason McKeown its mighty boring.

Hopkin came in after 6 games of the season and didn't get us on a cup run and we're in the bottom 2 of division 1.

@Jason McKeown do you have a problem with Josh Wright? Might be things that I don't know as to why but I can say Hopkin's handing of players he wants out has been a disgrace. We live in a footballing world now in which man management skills has be of a loving nature not a bull dog one. Players stick together(use UTD and Chelsea two of the biggest clubs in English football as example) now if Josh Wright or Riley are not liked by players then that's different but players will be thinking if Hopkin can treat them like that then he can treat me like that.
We don't have a CB on the bench when Riley is available. That's madness. Putting his point before the club. That is unacceptable!

Concentrate on the here and now. 2 poor home games, deadful tactics, hoof ball, disgraceful performances, a poor Jan window and fighting relegation.

Hopkin is to blame and without a shadow of a doubt needs to go if we go down.

Stop with the excuses - it's embarrassing!

 

Hey up Fordy. We don't know what the issue is with Wright and Riley, but are you seriously suggesting we should have Riley on the bench as cover CB!!!!

So if O'Connor or NKP got injured what would you have done played Devine at CB?

Both Wright and Riley are contacted to the club for years so it's not as if they need to play x amount of games before they get a new contract.

Hopkin and only Hopkin is keeping them out of the squad.

 

Sorry but blaming a % of the fans for the clubs demise is absolute lunacy.

Obviously its Hopkins decision but perhaps they are not in the matchday squad because they are not good enough, or as has been intimated there are attitude issues.

Sorry but both are better than Danny Devine and some of the others on the bench.

Some players settle straight away, others take time.

He isn't giving them hope and that's the problem.

Hopkin's man management skills are wrong.

Payne & LOB gone from a top division 1 players to average ones in a month.

Wright & Riley are not the problems here. We have to look at the bigger picture.

 

Are you Josh Wright? All you do is peddle absolute sh1te about how he should be in the squad and how sh1te Hopkin is as a manager. You forgot what a shit show he took over? The players weren’t even half fit, the budget was blown on mostly garbage and his hands have been tied pretty much since day one. As for Josh Wright, that pathetic display at Barnsley was enough for me to never see him in a City shirt again.
