Rhodes and Lawn took us to 18th in L2 (twice) from the Championship taking 6 yers before turning things round and are now seen as being considerably better than Rahic and Rupp.
I just look forward to the next match and expect them to win
I have never once in the 2500+ City matches I have attended gone expecting them to lose
Is that ambitious enough for you

2500 games is every game for about 55 years. If you can honestly say you’ve never gone to a game thinking City will lose, you’re lying.

It might be "ambitious" enough for you @BWWB@BWWB but no, for me that doesn't register on the ambition scale at all. I think you should check the meaning of the word.

Agree with your analysis. If you went to 50 games a season, then to have seen City play 2,500 you would have had to gone to 50 matches a season for 50 years. I think even the most Ultra hardened City fan would struggle to achieve that level of attendance.
So if that is not the case, does that reduce the credibility of BWWB’s posts?

Well apart from your maths being way out, I also would question your ability to be optimistic for every single match. The reasoning you put forward is flawed. When R&R arrived there was nothing to turn around we were on the up, therefore they needed to invest in the first team first and foremost in order to gain promotion and build from there. They have not invested and we are all paying the price. We have only been in the Championship once, when we were dropping down the leagues. It took them a long time to pull this club around and we did end up in league 2. If City fans were given the scenario that R&R would make some very poor decisions and we would end up in league 2, then I think the protests would have extremely loud.

Having been a season ticket holder since 1963 and only missing a handful of home games since then and travelled to away games regularly since 1968 (including to fa and league cup games and many friendlies)I have definitely seen over 2100 City matches ( and have detailed records of over 1350 since 1985)
2500 might have been a bit of an exaggeration but I would still suggest there are not many on here who have seen so many

As for my maths being wrong.
Only been in the second tier once in that time is quite simply wrong
We were there between 1985 and 1990
Again between 1996 and 1999 and lastly between 2001 and 2004
That’s 3 times by my calculation (11 seasons)
Of course in that time it was called division 2 then division 1 it was not called the Championship until the season after we were relegated to the renamed League 1
