Christ is this what’s it’s come to? Arguing over a fiver? Close on 45k have died, the economy is going to be fecked for years, football clubs are going to go to the wall and you’re arguing over whether you’re due £28 or £33? It’s like getting diabetes and ask Haribo for a refund for the half bag of tangfastics you bought when you filled up.
It’s a sunk cost. Whether the season gets going again or not you’ve spent the money. Mentality of Bradford makes me understand why the city is a fecking shit hole.

With the extra money for season tickets I think you are talking to the wrong group of people on this board. I would say around 95% would not complain as they love going to city and love it that much they choose to spend their spare time posting about the club on here. The club probably know they could charge this portion slightly more and it would be fine.
It’s the other set of fans who make up the weekly 14 to 15 k of fans who probably wouldn’t and would sooner find something else to do if it went up further.

 

Been an interesting debate this. I’m beginning to wonder if perhaps Rahic was ahead of his time on this issue. When he was here you didn’t buy a season ticket you subscribed to a membership scheme and a season ticket was one of the benefits among others. In this scenario refunds wouldn’t be such an issue as your membership would still be valid whether matches were taking place or not.

 

I'm shocked that we have cheap season tickets but don't do anything like you mentioned. It's poor by the club.

The club might as well change full price because they don't do anything extra to maximise the money they can make.

Saw when bundesliga returns if it does, fans can buy a cardboard cut out made of themselves for the stands. 19 euros they are. Monchengladbach have sold nearly 7000

How much I may have spent is immaterial and the amount 28.25, 128.25, 1028.25...really doesn't matter. If they don't complete the season I am due a refund.

They can mitigate this, take if off the price of next seasons ticket, offer me a credit note for the shop, offer me shares in BCFC, ask me to forego it (that one is a joke!), offer me a prematch lunch, tokens for pies etc etc etc but simply assuming a refund is not required is simply not going to work in my case.
