This surprises me. He doesn’t seem the type to hold a grudge.

Out of interest, would you have any legal redress for obtaining a refund if the season is curtailed now? I'm not an expert on these things but I haven't read anything in the season ticket T&Cs to suggest you do nor have I seen a force majeure clause anywhere in them.

I think the season will be ended by fulfilling the remaining games at some point and behind closed doors.

Surely you wouldn't want a refund don't forget who our manager is so you probably wouldn't be attending anyway ?

Haha, no doubt he would want Stuart to pay it out of his own pocket

If I include the mile per pound (£) figure to get to VP, couple of pints before the game, and other incidental expenditure, then before I factor in the cost of the price of admission, I guess I will have spent over £15 and possibly up to £20 a match. So the £6.52 is a relatively small amount of money spent on the match day experience.

I guess if you went out for a brief drink on a mid week evening, you would spend more.

    No I won’t be seeking a refund.

My suggestion is the club increase ST prices to £182.60 and then give you your £32.60 refund

Bit of a difference. Those clubs get more money from Sky than they get from the sale of ST tickets.

Keefly, isn’t it a 23 (home) game season ticket? So £32.61 surely?

@YungNath@YungNath is clearly concerned about his finances and I don’t think anyone genuinely would begrudge him claiming back money if it’s offered. The fact he’s posting on here indicates he has some form of internet access, so maybe he can speak to his mobile phone provider and/or broadband provider to see if they can help too.

@Bronco@Bronco, this was a fair question. What about requesting a refund for next season’s ST? I wouldn’t want one for the remaining 5 games, but I would want one for next season if this cannot recommence.

I try to ask questions that can be debated we're all in different circumstances financially, as it turns out the club have closed the offer until we have a clearer picture of what's going to happen.
The original question was not about the refund for the last 5 games but more in reply to @fordy suing the club (maybe I didn't get my point over too clearly) I said if a presadence had been set in the courts would other fans follow and possibly land our club in administration.
Obviously from most replies they were thinking with regards claiming money back for the last 5 home games, which at the time I thought would be petty, but reading some of the replies a few are in a far different financial position than myself and others.

Got stuck up at my dads in Yorkshire mate so it's his internet. Came up for his stag do, got trapped up here in the lockdown. Now paying for a flat in Bristol I can't get to and am struggling to afford on 80 percent furlough. No rent or bill suspension been agreed or offered. Originally fell into financial trouble November last year from struggling to find work (a tale in and of itself) and getting a student loan that doesnt fully cover rent let alone living costs so been playing catch up since then anyway. Couldn't work for about a month in Jan/Feb after contracting viral pneumonia which we're all pretty confident was Covid before it was popular. On ZHC so no work means no wage.

Just been told by my employer today I should find another job if I can as they cant promise me any work when we re-open if they will still be there at all, which means I've no real way going forwards to pay for the flat I signed on for another year in back in December. Already applied for more help from student finance owing to my earlier money trouble and was told Im not eligible for any more support. Most of my experience is in hospitality so it's not like I can just waltz in to another job, which I'm already cacking my pants for as due to the prior pneumonia and having severe asthma I'm rather high risk indeed. Bottom line is anything at all would be helpful to me although I wouldn't demand or expect a refund, merely take it if it was offered.
