I think we need to wake up to the fact that our very survival is at stake. I think there's a complacency because we're not 'in admin'. But this threat is arguably even bigger.

The chances of Bradford City going into admin or out of business is extremely high if no football for 6-12 months.

This is when having cheap season tickets is going to bite Bradford City massively.

That's the point I've been trying to get across. I really think we're in great danger. No season ticket sales, precious few other assets (if any), no matchday income. We're entirely dependent on Rupp's funding and is he really going to continue to haemorrhage money indefinitely? That's the crucial question for us.

They'll be even higher when you start suing them for failing to complete £32 worth of home games.

And I've no idea of his wealth or investment portfolio, but it'll be safe to say he's taken a hit and probably worth less than he was a few weeks ago

    Agree.
Most wealth is based on assets for people. Not many are cash but his assets will be taking a hit.

Didnt we lose 1.9m last year. I just keep see him keeping on funding loses. The business is poorly run and has been for years. Now I can see us suffering badly.

Whatever his worth is currently I assume that it's diminishing by the day. Doubt Fischer seats are seeing a huge demand at present.

Well obviously the Director of Football at Anfield thinks differently, he realises what the consequences could be for Liverpool and football unlike yourself.
I'm not sure about the insurance situation maybe someone within the insurance business can tell us but if someone, a bread winner or worst still both as has happend) lose their lives because of this virus and they have life cover it would be interesting to see the outcome.

He must be cursing his luck. Bought a club on the up, and then took it to one game of the championship. Admittedly appointed the wrong man to run the club but to see year on year decline as fast as we have with big budgets, sometimes nearly 2 million in the red and now a massive black hole with this virus. If he does walk away I am not sure he would ever invest in a football team ever again

He isn't director of football at Liverpoo. He was and was quickly sacked.

I just think people are throwing far to others many things into the mix and trying to save the world. We need to find solutions because if we don't then Bradford City and others will go to the wall.

Let's try to detail the loss of Rupp:

    1) Spent 6m buying the club
    2) A Billy Clarke awful miss from the Championship
    3) Paying off Edin
    4) 1.9m hole last year

    Please add more.

Why would you care about Bradford City ?, you got an offer to help the club with your wealth of financial knowledge and your reply "I'm not a charity" then you quote you'd sue the club if you didn't get a full refund and more if others followed your stance, which could take the club into admin, you knock fans who have already renewed (their choice) and you tell us you care about the club.

25% of homeless in 19 sites of 4 US cities US test positive.

It's worth noting that some of the data is a few weeks old which means infection rates now are likely to be higher. The homeless shelter in the next link was tested around April 5th. 146 of 397 tested were positive with 100% considered symptomless. (I gather a very small number had coughs and no fever that were considered to be other issues.) I've not been able to find much subsequent data but I gather one was taken to hospital shortly after.

    https://www.boston25news.com/news/cdc-reviewing-stunning-universal-testing-results-boston-homeless-shelter/Z253TFBO6RG4HCUAARBO4YWO64/?_website=cmg-tv-10020

We don't know how far this disease has progressed until we can work out how many are symptomless in the general population. Numerous blood antibody test are now under way, though, and preliminary results of those tested first are suggested to come soon. Major League Baseball's study suggested some initial results this week

Agree governments are doing their own thing with regards the virus and hoping their way gets a result, a difficult position to be in.
The Saudi's are not allowing mass gatherings for Ramadan yet Pakistan are allowing normal gatherings, each government taking different stand points.

I think its less about luck, and more about his judgement tbh. He has no business running a football club really. In fact, I think the luck's been on his side in the sense that our first season under him was really about what McCall and his management team did. As soon as Rupp - and more so Rahic, obviously - took the lead, it went to ratsh*t. I'm sure he's cursing his original decision to buy us, as do many supporters.

I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall after the Fleetwood result that took us to Wembley, billy big ball saying how he changed stuff and Stuart was not happy but results showed he knew football.

100% mate.. just like the clubs in the EFL making out they care about players and fans when all they want to do is think about themselves.

I suggest fans think about themselves in this moment.

EFL need to start talking about the solutions to get football back. I think League 1 and 2 clubs are disgraceful at this moment in time.

However, credit to Ryan I thought his comments on the City website were good.

I come to this late today after exercising the vacuum. I watched part of the Sky piece with Garry and Jamie this morning. Neville is a great observer. Player, Manager, Coach, Pundit and now Owner. He said football will change forever after this, predicting many Clubs will fold and saying there will be hundreds, yes hundreds of players out of a job and finished in the game. Sadly, he said, many players and most Agents just don't get it, the penny hasn't dropped at all. If it were him as a player now at lower levels he would be looking at retraining for a career outside the game.
He was asked about contracts ending and said Salford have 9 out of contract but he knew of another club with 15 out!. He thinks if the season were to start in July players out of contract would sign up for the extension but the outlook for youngsters, ie Scholars looking for a Pro Contract is bleak "If a Club has promising groups of scholars they may only offer one a contract", the view was there is no money. He slammed Chelsae looking at a £79mil deal when at the same time asking players to take a big wage cut, they just don't get it.

I have views on Neville sometimes but he's bang on with this.
