The link about Southend is why I think it's disgusting clubs are wanting to end the season.

They don't care about the players or fans. Southend who are second from bottom will more than likely want to end the season. Use the Furlough to pay players wages then those not in contract will be in deep trouble because clubs won't buy players until they need too and because next season is highly UNLIKELY then these players could be without a wage for months and months if not 12/18.

Football like any other industry needs to try to find away forward for players, sponsors and fans.

The FA is weak.. might as well end but the PL and EFL need to be seen to be doing more but clubs need to stop crying!

If there are no crowds in the forseeable future clubs will have very little income and most in leagues 1 & 2 won't survive. As I said before I don't think we'll be able to keep going unless Herr Rupp decides to keep funding us. If he decides to cut and run then I fear we're lost. It will all depend on him. How football is reorganised if countless clubs go bust is anybody's guess.

A leading sports lawyer has warned it will not be possible for football clubs to force their players to stay beyond contracts which expire on June 30 if the season runs past it.

A good article in the Yorkshire Post https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/you-cant-make-footballers-stay-or-play-after-june-30-warns-sports-lawyer-2544380?fbclid=IwAR3ZjY-SGV-n6nCC0bnkDfDPpiKuhVhLvz_4K4fw8Yohk91g2MNhU76Ap7k so if this season is to be played out someone needs to get their fingers out.

Yes, you can't force them but I don't think the players are the problem.... it's the clubs. The players will play.

Have you read the article ?.
It has a scenario by Damian Comolli the Liverpool Director of Football :
“Sorry if I’m being dramatic but let’s assume the Premier League starts and suddenly (a player) catches the virus and then dies or gets severe lung damage and he can’t play football anymore, what’s going to happen?” he asked. “Is the player going to say my contract ended on June 30, you forced me to play?”
The lawyers would have a field day !!.

Only for essential repairs for key workers.

They are not allowed to open showrooms for car sales. However, certain dealers are offering online sales

Yeah, I heard him but he talks nonsense.

They'll be tested and like anyone you can't only test a person at this moment.

What are people going to do? Sure the company that they work for if they catch the virus?

Look, I don't know how many times I have say this. NO VACCINE! The world can't stop Sport and other businesses will have to find a way. I highly doubt insurance companies will add corona virus to their policies.

The regulations don't mention only for key workers, again that is what some garages are doing but it is their choice.

It says 'Car garages and MOT services' so if it does one of those they could legally sell cars as well as the regulations don't stipulate what can and can not happen as long as the business is listed as allowed to open

Feel free to look at the regulations. They could have stayed open. Loads of garages have closed
