I didnt say that. I meant it would be madness to increase the prices this season when we are not able to attend every game

How do you know we won't be able to attend?

We will just get a refund or it will be swapped over to a cup game.

Don't buy a season ticket if you are concerned about not attending. It's simple!

You increase pricing when working on reduced capacity!

I think they will honour the existing season ticket sales but when allowed to open for crowds it will be by ticket only in advance @£20 per game and tickets will be for every other or third seat to ensure distancing,

Well for a start the season starts September 12 and at the moment no fans allowed until October and the way things are going it will be after that

Simple supply and demand, if 14,000 want it and you can only supply 8,000 why wouldn't you increase the price? Especially when you were making losses prior to lock down and no income

This will be the real testing time for smaller clubs, Players and staff off furlough with very little income coming in with no crowds, There is a risk some may not survive much past the new year without help.

Government say they are not helping.
PL not going to help either at this moment.

Unfortunately you could be right mate but EFL/PL have to put cases together on how to get fans back.

Always presuming you have 8k wanting to go !!!!!!
If what's on offer doesn't appeal and you have raised prices
In the long term that's financial suicide

    Can't cope!!!

The bloody football kit has had a price increase and has the highest orders. Shows a demand is there and people will pay more for products.
You always get diehards in football and from 14k I am sure 8k will want to go.

As I say if other companies offering the same product raise their prices then little you can do if not I'd suggest your jeopardising your business that is already suffering hence ths reason to raise your prices.
We are talking specifically about Bradford City and its fan base who have in the past had it good for many years and credit to past and present owners for that.
I just dont think the figures being suggested after making an offer of 2020/2021 season tickets at £149 will increase to fordys suggested figures of £200 or £250, it won't happen IMO but we'll have to wait and see
And as I posted Fordys stock answer in the past has always been the owner should subsidies the club player budgets, pitch refurbishment, general ip keep of the stadium it's his business and he's worth £100m +.

Selling a football kit is totally different to selling an increased admission fee it's an impulse buy "ask your marketing team" How many Liverpool shirts are sold in comparison to how many are at Anfield it's a very very small percentage
Many fans have been on furlough since March and are wondering where the next meal is coming from not when they can attend a match again coupled with all the new regulations surrounding Covid 19 going to a match won't be the same again a lot of "die hards" your words are in the at risk category and won't be allowed to attend anyway we have not attracted support from the younger end for a long while now
14k may be the number the club have released as being the number of tickets/flexis sold you can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times above 10k were actually in the stadium
You have stated many times that the club lack ambition/ and are in decline (I agree) and some of last seasons performances will only serve to knock pre price increase ticket sales down
You don't increase the price of any commodity especially in today's uncertain times unless it's gilt edged (which we ain't)
Get the club back to a steady top half L1 side and the country Covid free before contemplating any increases fans have suffered enough but as you say will pay

The actual numbers aren't really that important providing demand outstrips supply.
I also think 8,000 is on the high side, I'd be pleasantly surprised if more than 5,000 were allowed to attend

Some of you are cheap. Rhodes has ruined you!

The prices need to go up an now!

I'll tell you now if the club increased the price to 200-250 then 8k will sell. If you don't want one then don't get one.

It's demand v Supply! When you understand we can have a sensible business conversation.

Also football kit production doesn't have a finite limit, if the punters want 100,000 Liverpool shirts, they make 100,000.

Not cheap at all Fordy and that is an insult to our fan base
our ticket prices have been too cheap for a while now to the clubs detriment but believe me now is not the time to start hiking the price
Supply and demand dictates market forces as yet I have seen nothing to suguest this applies to Bradford City next season
I have run businesses since your ar$e was the size of a shirt button and will gladly have a business conversation once you understand

I agree. I'd like to know where all these businesses are that are hiking up their prices because from my experience, I can't say I've noticed it.
