    Quite right
Prices are falling it's a buyers market
The housing market is only bouyant because of the stamp duty advantage
Lots of businesses are struggling to sell pre lockdown stock

Right, so you are expecting 8k fans to pay 50-100 pounds more for an inferior product? Do you think attending a game with all the restrictions there are going to be in place is going to be anywhere near as enjoyable as the normal match day experience? And you are asking people to pay more for the privilege?
Also, what about the product we are going to be putting out on the pitch? What if we've more or less done our business now and the only extra signings we make are 'meh' and don't inspire any confidence or hope? What if Vaughan does end up going and we either don't replace him or we leave it so late that the only options left are so bad that we might as well not bother?
Good luck with the marketing campaign.

You go to cheap places then.

Look at rail prices 1st class and UK stays with hot tubs.

    New cars.

    Football Kits.

Prices have gone up. Even look at your local supermarket and you will notice price increases!

Lots of businesses struggle to sell because they cut marketing and advertising which is a foolish mistake.
People have money or will find money to do things.

Bottom line here is Rhodes has ruined this club.

Some of you say why get a refund but the thought of you paying an extra £50 for a season ticket is sending you over the edge.

Quick to make out that you are a super fan but when it comes to it most of you think about yourselves.

This club is a mess and the sooner Rhodes goes the better. We need a new direction now.

Not read this whole thread but I'd support an increase in ST prices for this year. Even if they put an extra 50 quid on its still loads cheaper than other clubs and the club might need that money

If the man in the street has money to spend he will spend it on essentials rather than luxuries however well they are marketed/advertised
Lockdown part 2 is just round the corner and this time there will be no furlough
    What happens then ??
you can't feed your family on that new pair of shoes

I won't say its not happening with certain products, we saw that with the likes of toilet rolls and sanitizers etc early on in the pandemic but (and I'm not in business) anyone who hiked their product price would have to give serious thought about the consequences and I don't think Bradford City fall into that category.
Even without the present situation what the fans have gone through during the last two seasons even with another great gesture from the club I doubt very much we would have achieved over 12,000, 10,000+ would be my guess. You only have to look back on this forum and read how posters on here were saying they would have to give serious thought to renewing a several seasoned fans saying they would not be renewing.
I'm not saying prices shouldn't go up but I am saying I don't think after the unveiling of this seasons price they would go back on their offer, lets wait and see.

    Exactly Dave
The shops who hiked up the price of toilet rolls, paracetamols, sanitizer etc at the start of the pandemic will live to rue the day People especially Yorkshire folk don't forget such things and will vote with their feet in the future
Whether that applies to our season ticket prices am not too sure but you are right even before Covid 19 a lot of long standing fans were seriously considering whether to renew or not
The club do need to higher the price of the season tickets but not until we are a top half L1 team

Nobody in their right mind would suggest putting up prices at this moment in time, it would be business suicide. But, in the future, they do have to go up to give the manager (whoever he/she is) the best competitive budget available. I keep hearing self sustainability but if you want sustainability and a competitive side then be prepared to fork out more than £150 a season. The old adage you get what you pay for has never been so true.

    Agree entirely
This forums version of "Dragons Den" suggests otherwise
    But that doesn't surprise many

You seriously think 8000 fans would be willing to pay almost double last seasons prices when they don't even know if or when they will be allowed to attend. Cloud cuckoo land springs to mind mate

What you have to think is he was saying how embarrassing it was that morrisons have never been behind any professional sports team from Bradford so I've now asked him twice why he doesn't sponser Bradford city guess what his reply was......... Silence won't even answer the question.. In his words EMBARRASSING.

Did he ever settle his outstanding bet
No revered business man would let non payment of a small wager ruin his reputation
He puts up a good front and is certainly entertaining but has nothing to substantiate it

He goes on about 'marketing' and 'advertising' but doesn't take the opportunity to slip in the odd mention here of the product/service that has made him the multi national success that he claims.....wonder why..?

I don't think he has ever produced any evidence of actually paying to either poster he had the bet with.
Small time trying to pretend he's big time google has a lot to answer for
