He signed a new contract in February so can't dislike it that much.

 

He wanted Adams in December. Agreed fee, contract ready....

 

You will be on the money again Simon no doubt but just one thing that got me thinking.
If the mystery man as had any input with the retain list surly he is unemployed.
If I found out a contracted employee was already involved with another club while been paid I wouldn't be best pleased.
Is that a fair assumption of the situation?

Reading a few Swindon fans take on RW, is Salford came knocking with a generous compensation package. Power was eager for the cash, he had a big impact on RW leaving Swindon. Many Swindon fans would welcome him back.
At Salford, Gary Neville tried to persuade RW to change his method of football, RW wouldn't change from his principles, became

Its an interesting one Fog, obviously the retained list now cant have more than recommendations from T&S so I am presuming Turnbull in particular will have had some sizeable input. My own experience is managers have their own teams and a network of scouts and 'football people' who could easily pass on info without to much difficulty, I think a lot will be apparent in how quickly we release the retained list and how quickly we name the new manager

 

He only won one of the last six at Salford Bowyer did better with the same players he won one in 12 at Oldham before hitting the revolving door onto the magic roundabout

I can't help feeling that supporting Bradford City must be similar to what it feels like when you've got a cheating partner that you stay with despite them constantly philandering. You allow them back into your life, tell yourself that 'this time it's going to be different' only to discover that they've been seeing someone else a few months later. Manager after manager arrives and I tell myself 'this is the one, this time they're going to be successful'. Then usually within the same season, we're back to square one again. Forgive the negativity, but I'm going to expect the worst whilst hoping against hope that this time will be different.

 

Who do you want us to get Park?

 

I am certain it will be Wellens but I would prefer a pragmatic manager such as Parky or Even Adams.

 

Sparks talks about bringing in someone with experience, do we class Wellens as experienced?

Very good question!

If we're looking at getting someone proven to lead the line, we need to make sure we do a better job at managing our 'big' players than we have done recently.

It's backfired with Doyle, Vaughan and now Rowe, although I'm not sure you'd class him as a 'big' player.

 

Im not really into this sentimental “ bring back the old boss” mentality. We got bit by Stuart’s return , I don’t want dejavue.

Besides he doesn’t play attractive football. There isn’t a Jim and Nahki at the club!
