The point I am making is we should have give the lads who achieved what they were appointed to do the chance to follow on instead of another twice failed manager. However whoever is appointed will be supported by me there will be none of the match by Match carping that some on here will do

If he is the new manager, context. It's always the case that we, as fans, can get overly overjoyed without looking at the fuller picture.

Take January as an example. Biggest transfer window labelled by some. The reality, in all honesty turned out differently.

Looks like the new manager announcement is going to be delayed either Wellens has a clause in his latest pay out. Or it’s someone already in a job

 

Don’t get the Wellens love in. Be interested to hear why people think he’s any different to the last 5 appointments.

 

If it's Adams, or Flynn, for that matter, we'll have at least a 2 week wait to find out. The 2nd leg of the play-off semis are on 23rd May. If Wellens or A N Other isn't named in the next day or 2 and speculation rises, it's not likely to help either Morecambe or Newport focus on getting to Wembley.

 

Don’t think Flynn will move from Wales I wish of the two it was Adams but I am sure it will be Wellens

 

I do hope the Club get it right this time around. We are crying out for a long term plan and direction which will stabilise and enable us to bring back success. An appointment of profile to lift spirits and optimism would be most welcome.

 

All I have heard is Ryan knows very clearly who he wants - I know we have to get this decision right and RS will probably live or die by this decision but whatever the outcome he has shown he is a bit more than just Mr Soundbite as a certain regular poster would have us believe! Interestingly I have also heard the said person has already had a bit of input into our retained list which would also show this is not just Sparks panicing, he was not happy a few weeks back with how things were going and it looks like he was already planning for the end of the season. This could also explain (not excuse) to a degree some of the weird things that have been happening in the last few matches
