Well first and foremost, they have learnt to keep fans informed hopefully on a regular basis. They also get a major pat on the back for getting going on the pitch, plus the training ground is also getting a face lift, didn’t they let Grayson pick the wallpaper?

However, I am nervous about recruitment and the emphasis on youth. We are back to Head Coach, but we cannot have Edin as Head of Football we must have someone else or we will encounter the same problems as we have over the last two seasons. We must have someone who is accountable and we can ask to leave if the results are not forthcoming.

I think we can safely say that this looks more likely to be mid/long term strategy, and if we go up accidentally we will have to fast forward. So when they appoint head coach again!!! Will he be left to do his job? It would be good if Edin and Stefan could fill in the gaps? Fans will fill them in for you if you don’t!

I fully accept there will be no announcement on budgets or the details, but a little more expansion on what they are expecting over the next two years would be good.

In the end, we have no choice, I would prefer to be positive it is better for my health, but 25/30% of our fan base stayed silent and voted with their feet. So over to you R&R.

Maybe it's because no-one else in the lower leagues are doing it and therefore we can pick from a better quality of young player. The English boys have generally done well, some very well. Apart from Kai the German ones have been a failure yet some on here want to blame Abbo for this? Those are purely down to Edin and associates.

I would think most of the other clubs in the lower leagues aren't doing it because they can see the pit falls in neglecting the first team

 

Sadly I think you're wrong you only need to look around this place Twitter and Facebook to see that we have many unambitious just happy to have a club to support fans. People like Park who have zero interest in seeing us be successful just because they are used to failure are abundant among our fan base. Just like on the protest thread there's not enough people who actually care about the direction of the club and don't want to prevent what will inevitably happen under these clowns.

We do have a lot of those, and I can’t ever foresee a situation where enough city fans feel strongly enough to protest at anything at all, but I can see ST holders dropping further, and as we saw towards the end of the season, fans voting with their feet.

 

If you think Kai isn't a failure then It shows how bad we really are. Great enthusiasm from the lad but I've seen dead fish with better footballing ability than him

 

Next season is going to be crap and I for one am not looking forward to it.

 

If I could get my money back now I would, I've got more important things in my life to do than watch a bunch of German u18s and Europe's finest pub players on a Saturday afternoon

Whatever happens now, Edin Rahic HAS to be accountable for this shambles;

A head coach/muppet not a manager required, possibly cheap players brought in before a new appointment.
That should do wonders for the team squad.
At least they have nailed their vision for the club,
A shame the season ticket holders wont see the benefit of young kids and cheap cast-offs taking the club downwards.

Yes. And then they hired an experienced manager with a proven track record who took THE SAME players down to mid table.

Edin, and a lot of City fans, didn't realise what an amazing job Stuart did.

Ironic that the board are now looking for someone who sounds remarkably like Stuart.
