Best of luck to them both.

Let’s not get too excited though a big club like Barrow or Port Vale could still come in and prize them away or something...

Mark does the mardy Bradford lad to a tee - why are you even talking to me? Do I really have to talk to the media? Connor's much more...sigh, o.k., if I have to explain this to you, I'll put on a smile and tell you what we're trying to do. Either way, I love their approach to the media which is basically...yeah, we know it's part of the job to talk to you, but you know what, we're just concentrating on our real jobs which is getting results for our club.

If they get DMH off the books by 11pm Monday, and manage to get radio leeds to drop kiwomya I would give them a five year deal as a reward.

What they have done is amazing really. So glad we didn't appoint a Billy big boots like sol Campbell

OK for me, as a Bradford City fan for 50 years, what would I love most? A CEO and two young managers who are showing real talent and dedication, who also happen to be Bradford lads and fans. I don't think we can underestimate how much the success of our club means to these guys.

Add Stevens who to some extent let the game pass him by and the right hand side was a car crash yesterday

I just thought he was genuinely saying they deserve a cheer even if it only happened once, they deserve it. Didn't read anything into it, just thought it was a turn of phrase.

I can’t see them being happy to do that. They have taken their chance with both hands. It’s like starting upper school, getting Straight A’s, then being told to go back to finish the year in Primary school!

I’ve been impressed with them both from the off and it was a Sparks masterstroke giving them the caretaker role. These last ten games have given us back what we want from City - passion, commitment, pride, and, most importantly, results. The best in the division infact.

If we appoint a new boss in the summer it won’t sit right with me.

Tell you what, if Sparks appoints somebody else, he leaves himself open to criticism.

I don't know how many would like T&S appointed full time but I'd imagine it's sizeable, remove T&S and the new man fails to deliver, oh Sparks.

    The knives will be out.

What’s to say we won’t go up under these two?

we have appointed experienced managers in the past and they’ve flopped. Grayson was a top appointment at the time.

the proof of the pudding is in the eating - this group of players have better results under these two than any other side in the division.

so many managers cut their teeth at this level - primarily they are given a chance for financial reasons. Its nice to see us being that club unearthing prospects.

The first real hint from T&S in the T&A this morning that they want the job permanently and if it's not to be, they will see what happens going forward.

Not quite an ultimatum to Sparks, but certainly I get the view that they think the time is right for them to be appointed permanently.

They clearly now have ambitions of first team management and they are hoping it is with us

They're in the shop window now. There doesn't need to be any panic or rush because I think everyone is working in the same direction. I don't think we'll wait until the summer, I think we'll see these guys made permanent soon, and I think that's the right thing to do.

Yet under Phil Parkinson we had our only success since the Premier days, who knows where we might have been as a club without Rack & Ruin pissing Parkinson off.

I think Parky's success was also part of the issue. As he brought success he cemented his position of control and power over the club. He was allowed too much control.
He walked primarily because he didn't want to let go of that power. He didn't want to work in a structure that shared control with others -primarily in the area of recruitment. And when he left he took everything with him. That we were able to build a team to make the play-off final from just 7 professionals left in the building the following season is nothing short of remarkable.
Ironically, one of the new owners who wanted to devolve power ended up wanting to control everything.
Rhodes was used to a system that put all the responsibility on the manager's shoulders and that wasn't any better to Rahic's 'fuhrer principle'.
