why? the fact he went close once on Saturday proves nothing, and adds nothing to any debate about whether he can be a striker.
the point raised was Hopkin says Anderson can play up front, because he has good shots in training - this is a bit questionable, at best since he's never played there before. I don't understand why you'd jump in in his defence if you also don't think he should be playing as a striker for us.

 

OK ............ So against Walsall ............. 0 - 0 with 15 minutes to go ..............

I say bring on Anderson to play alongside another striker, and let's see what happens ?
(No doubt Hopkin will bring on Devine for Payne, eh ?)

What is up with you. Like you I don't know if Anderson can play up front or not. I just know he had a good attempt on Saturday which probably deserved a goal.

Player has attempt on goal which deserved a goal lol. I wonder if there are any other hidden gems out there who've had an effort on goal and could be a striker because of this. I had an effort on goal in a seven a side game a few months ago, i have cleaned my boots in anticipation of a late call up on Saturday.

 

Do you have experience just in case needed?

He's not had a pre season he may take a few games to get up to speed, but perfect foil for Doyle "a big lad up front" fits the bill perfectly.
