When David was appointed, we weren't actually in the bottom 4. He led us there, and a brief few days aside at Christmas, he has been unable to get us out, and I have little confidence in David being able to save us

 

The problem isn't our current form, it was how long it took to start getting points on the board.

The run of results in his first ten or so games was ludicrously shite.

This is why I dont understand some, such as How, saying we are in decent form and not understanding the reaction of some, like me, to last weeks dreadful performance.

Reality is, we are not in good form, and time is running out

 

Thing is the other teams around us are doing just as badly.

 

Not quite sure we will be finished if we fail to win today, but the prospect of staying up would certainly look bleak, especially with the tough looking March set of fixtures looming.

Massive game today though, no doubt about that. I pray we dont concede another early goal like we did against Sarfend and Fleetwood, or another coastal visiting team will probably coast to 3 comfortable points

 

But have games in hand.

Win today and next week and we need 5 from 12. It can change so quickly. Just trying to remain positive but do we need 53 points. Would make absolutely certain but that would mean everyone else down there needs to win 6 or 7 from their remaining games too? Is that going to happen?

It hasn’t been great and in particular last week was tear your hair out frustrating but Fleetwood were built on defence and had a half decent game plan that our poor squad and tactics couldn’t break down.

If we get the crowd up today keep it tight for first 20/25 and then go for it we can get something.

 

Decent form? Not sure where I said that?

I said we have mid table form which has been enough to keep us in the race so far. We are in touch and need to kick on.

Nothing I have said is not fact. I just choose not to call everyone shit and the manager useless after we miss out on 3 points

 

Our form is average at best going into the game today. December is a long way back. Much has happened since then but the style and aptitude within games has suffered. To win 1 in 2 games is a massive ask.

We have won 12 of our last 53 league games ( drawn 11 and lost 30) since 1st January 2018. That equates at under 30% return on points.

Despite the claims of some, the form and performance of OUR team is a serious concern when we have to win 1 in 2 to the end of the season. It may come across as negative to some but the reality is, we are deep deep in trouble.

We just have to start winning again to get some momentum going. I know we don’t hav3 to win them all, but we need to get into gear. We have been poor in January and Februrary so far Isn’t good.

 

But in fairness I haven't just said we are in deep trouble have I. You have chosen to state two words within content.

Nor was I implying anybody in particular, including yourself. I hope you are correct in your overall appraisal that we can and will stay up.
