The absolute number one target for me has to be a centre mid.
Followed by centre defence and a striker.

 

Well, we do need some pace!

 

Even tho we have no wide players?

 

We’re in such a mess that it’s hard to call out a top priority. But for me, it’s a quality striker.

But really, we also need a central midfielder, left winger, left back and centre half almost as badly.

 

Personally can't see another midfielder coming in if both jim OB and Henry stay until end of season. The other postions I fully agree with.

Can't see us bring in another one. A centre back is an absolutle must as neither McGowan or NKP are good enough. Additonally, Chicksen needs replacing, we need a winger or 2 to give us options and a half decent target man to compliment Bruenker.

That's 5-6 quality players minimum to give us a chance.

 

We have about 8 CMs there’s no chance that’s the first position

 

We're well stocked with midfielders but most aren't up to it.

Devine - not good enough
Wright - definitely not good enough
Akpan - built like a tank. Plays like one
Colville- promising but raw
Henry - can't run
Reeves - someone check for a pulse
JoB - looked ok against the backdrop of what he replaced but isn't exactly top quality
LOB - been excellent.

We're going to need play off form to get out of this mess. So we need play off standard midfield. What we have is miles behind a midfield of Cullen and Vincelot.

 

Reeves looked alive at Xmas party doing the worm!!

 

He wasn't doing the worm, he has suffered so many injuries that's now his only form of locomotion.

 

Hopkin himself has said 3 or 4 incoming in january.

To me that means 1 winger, 1 tall striker, 1 centre back that can run, which leaves one more.

Dont know if by further rupp investment he includes the deals for jim o'brien, caddis and the short term henry deal.

I hope the approx £1 million is on top of that but am probably wrong here.

Jamie Lawrence is guesting at a football evening I and others are attending on Thursday evening I'll pick his brains about the lad.

 

I’d be surprised if Henry is offered anything longer than his current deal. If we have funds then we can surely get somebody a bit more mobile. Ok for now but that’s it for me.

 

To me it’s J O Brien or Henry not both. They served a purpose. Akpan if the new fitness coach gets him fitter could fill their role. Then we get a passer/playmaker

 

I want a lot more pace in the side
