I'd be over the moon if Billy Clarke came back. he's perfect for the role Payne plays, and is also versatile enough to play striker, or wide if needed.
he's a very talented player.

I think its only Simon Parker suggesting Billy Clarke might come back I see no positives in bringing him back to Bradford City.

I was, I did, it will and you're right. When J retired I wrote my memoirs and I'm now being pushed to write again. If I did people's views about the goings on would be tame compared to reality. BUT Stefan needs and deserves time to resolve and when we're back on track I may put pen to paper.

 

The writing was on the wall at the beginning of January when Hopkin tried to ‘persuade’ the likes of Riley and Wright that they had no future here. Even in that article he’s still hoping those very same players find new homes in what little remains of the transfer window.
Not a chance anyone is going to take them off our hands in circumstance that are beneficial to us. A shambolic summer will continue to kick us in the balls way after January has gone.

 

Would fit in with our policy of signing players injury prone and out of contract in the summer.

The guy should be treated with respect, not saying we should go for him but he would sure give his all at least til the end of this season...

 

Only 1 of those 3 improve the side. A side mired in a relegation dog fight. We're a farce - 2 of the deals we've done make no, or little sense, nor does the decision to pay a heap more cash to keep Payne if we're not able to strengthen the side elsewhere.

We need a minimum of 2 quality, first team players. Probably 3.

We've had ample time to try and repair some of the damage from the summer to December. If we don't, we absolutely deserve to be relegated.

 

Given where we were, if it stays as it is tonight, we will be 7 or 8 wins away from a survival points total.

We will have won 5 out of the last 6 home league games. That’s crucial and will be the reason we stay up if we can keep it up.

What sort of points return were you expecting? On the first of November we had 10 points and we were bottom and doomed. If Hopkin keeps us up it will go down as one of the better achievements as a city manager given what he inherited

 

If Miller is going, we need 2 strikers.

Please tell me why he would be ? Always injured and only plays well 5 times a season.
