Great game we deserved to win, standouts for me were,
Application
Composure
Not giving away stupid free kicks in dangerous situations
Game management
You can see the difference over the last few games how Hughes and Hodges have improved the side with good coaching.
Only criticism is that Watt really needs to mature and not put himself into situations like he did today.

 

It's a tough call Kev. On his day he's better than this level but gotta weigh up that risk assessment. Can't afford to have a player on the sidelines.

We were excellent with 11 but 10 against 12 was just undone by one piece of skill from McManaman. The referee had a shocker. They were theatrical all the game , the idiotic ref fell for it hook line and sinker. Bass’s booking was planned in advance if you watch the referee in the few seconds he collected the ball. No warnings , no “ hurry ups” , just a straight booking was poor!

 

They were pretty dreadful I agree, but are we doing ourselves a disservice, because we made them look awful. The position MH put Pereira in was a master stroke!! Sign him and quick!

You have to wonder what the referees assessor thought of his overall refereeing performance.

 

It an old saying but very true if you don't notice the referee he's had a good game, it doesn't help when the powers that be change the situation with regards the referee interfering with play, why did anything need changing the referee was part of the play if the ball hit him the game continued, where as now the game is stopped and a drop ball is given, totally uncalled for IMO, let the game flow.

 

Even Google translate can't help me to understand that.

 

I really think they make changes every year just for the sake of it, agree on all 3 points..
