We've only just got the pitch in decent shape after god knows how many years, and your wanting players training on it?

 

I see a few calling Watt stupid let’s be right that situation should never arose had the ref done his job properly in the first place still going forward the future is bright ......twice this season I have seen us go down to 10 men against so called promotion contenders ( Tranmere and Sutton ) and in both occasions they have both got out of town with an undeserved point in reality we are probably a handful of players away from becoming the real deal ............... as for the crowd the reaction after there equaliser was magnificent Hughes has us all together again and long may it continue

 

The situation around the ground ownership and training facility's are well know and old hat Fordy. It will take millions to build a new training ground and purchase Valley parade. Money the club does not have and probably won't have for years to come. We just have to make the best of what we have for now.
Your constant reminders of we train at a school , are boring and serve no purpose. If it bothers you so much, do something about it. I can see it now, The Fordy Car wash training ground. The players can have their cars valeted whilst they practice.

If yesterday was a template for how we'll play next season then a keeper who can pass like Bass is probably the number 1 priority. I say this as he probably passes better than any league two keeper I've seen this season.

Time and again he took out a couple of Tranmere players with a pass and avoided the need for some kind of frantic short passing interplay out from the back that is sometimes seen when some teams pass out from the back. Having that variety in the team means the opponents can't set up in a particular way every time.

 

He had been booked 12 minutes earlier so he knew any over zealous challenge could see him sent off I say its pretty stupid, although I said at the time if the referee had done his job on the first tackle he would not have had to book Watt.
Watt shouldn't have got into handbags with the Tranmere player but as we got the free kick why was the Tranmere player not booked for the original challenge.

 

Who knows what could have been with WAGMI United as our new owners they bought Crawley on 7th April played 2 won 2 the jury is out .

 

Some tranmere fans we spoke to afterwards were sat behind Dean , they said all he could do was shake his head.

 

You have to wonder what the referees assessor thought of his overall refereeing performance.

 

There’s no one worse than Dean for thinking the crowd have come to see him.

 

I totally agree but having said that if Boysen had done is job right Watt wouldn't have reacted the way he did, a very poor performance from the ref, I refuse to believe he is bent, to quote a a well used Fordy phrase he is just "shite".

 

• I read an article earlier this week , Dave, about the take over at Crawley . It stated that to raise the budget from their current £1.9 million approx to around £3 million , a very good budget for this division. They would need to sell 5. times more in nft's than Liverpool are currently selling. It did not say how much effort Liverpool where putting into their nft project, but it does seem a long shot for Crawley . Is there enough interest in them to sell a part share in John Yems and his potty mouth. Good luck to them, i am just pleased its not us , that is being used as a guniea pig

 

It an old saying but very true if you don't notice the referee he's had a good game, it doesn't help when the powers that be change the situation with regards the referee interfering with play, why did anything need changing the referee was part of the play if the ball hit him the game continued, where as now the game is stopped and a drop ball is given, totally uncalled for IMO, let the game flow.

Agree mate, there's been too many stupid 'tweeks' with the rules of the game, the ref used to be classed the same as a corner flag or goalpost being hit. Then there's the silly dead ball kick where defenders can now stand in the penalty box for a short pass from the 'keeper and the stupid (in my opinion) kick off where a player can stand in the opponents half before passing back for the 'hoof'. It used to be that the ball could only be played forward with all players inside their own half.
Spoiling it for me.
