True but sometimes refs are absolute g$ts and it's hard to control anger

Which is kind of where my point comes from when I say we only need a 3 or 4 to be very competitive as the top teams aren't great

That performance was incredible. The result ….They didn’t deserve that!

 

Outstanding effort by all. Effort, heart and moments of quality. No real complaints today. We know more is needed next season, but im only encouraged by what I see of us under Sparky

 

Made them look like a pile of crap, good goal at the end tbf but they offered nothing beforehand. Back Hughes please because if they’re the type of team to beat then it shouldn’t take too much. The ref was a joker as usual.

 

Just goes to show how bad this league really is if they are one of the better sides ............. ref did them a huge favour because 11v 11 we would have won easily ............. but so proud of the effort and the crowd

 

Tranmere were very poor. Really poor. Boyeson was worse.

Impressed by our desire. Unlucky not to win.

 

From the Tranmere fans reaction they were more than happy with that point, keep Anglo fit next season and IMO we've one hell of a player at this level, every City player could hold their heads high today two stupid challenges that got Watt sent off, for me we'd have got all three points with him on the pitch.

 

I enjoyed that , clapped them off .

Thought we were excellent today, best under Hughes so far. 11v11 we were all over them and would've won comfortably and even when it was 10v12 we were the better side and had all the big chances. Tranmere were absolutely gash and it's another example of how poor this league is that they've been in the promotion picture for so long.

 

Hard to fault that, we were the better side for the full 90 minutes, even with 10 men we created all the chances.
But jeez how bad were they. Reminded me of watching us at our worst under Adams.

They were embarrassingly bad. Pretty much the worst side I've seen at VP this season

 

Great game we deserved to win, standouts for me were,
Application
Composure
Not giving away stupid free kicks in dangerous situations
Game management
You can see the difference over the last few games how Hughes and Hodges have improved the side with good coaching.
Only criticism is that Watt really needs to mature and not put himself into situations like he did today.

 

Really enjoyed that.

The desire from every player today was really good to see

Some good performances from most of the players today, notably Songo'o, Walker and Pereira. Big shout out for Angol who was excellent when he came on. He is clearly talented, but do we take another chance with him this summer, quite a dilemma for Hughes I think.

Not sure why Gilliead is getting a bit of grief from some, his work rate in the middle was immense today, especially after Watt was sent off.

Great atmosphere today, can you imagine what it would be like if we are challenging this time next season.

Away from the match, commiserations to Scunny who were relegated today. Now that must be an awful feeling for their fans tonight
