    Lots of clubs use Ticketmaster in the EFL, if it's not 50% of the 92 clubs then it won't be far off. Ticketmaster will have negotiated the fee per ticket with the club and then it's up to the club if they absorb the fee in the ticket or charge the fans.

    How much of the transaction costs do we think city will supplement then?

    So far we have had transaction fee quotes of £3.50 from QPR and £1 each from Bolton and West Ham

    The sporting arm hardly has a better rep than concert ones mind you. Especially in the US. There is a reason why Seatgeek has had such a sudden growth in both event and sports ticketing in the last few years as TM despite having an almost monopoly have continued to drop the ball and rip people off

    mm. Just had an email telling me all my details have been transferred and go to activate my account. My name and DOB are correct, but the address is totally the wrong address - not even the right city!!!!

    The booking fees
    Delivery fees
    £1.50 per order fee for digital ticket
    £1.50 per order fee for standard post

    Payment fees
    Direct Debit fee are £5.00 per transaction

    So better if you are buying for more than 1 person as it's 1 fee per order rather than each ticket, also in effect free postage if you want tickets sent to you in the post.

    Family and friends is actually easier to do though, at least. Customer number and surname and it’s done in seconds.

    I suspect it’s a phased migration - we’ve registered our accounts now so that confirms certain details.
    That registration might even be needed to trigger migrating points, account history, season tickets etc….
    It’s almost an identity verification exercise (at least that’s what I’m hoping)

    I trust it's a fee to set up the DD initially and not an additional charge every time the DD is taken! If it is the latter, there'll be some seriously pissed off fans. :eek:
