    I think the look of the new site is dependent on your points score, which reflects how important of a person you are.

    When I logged on I got the message "welcome Sir" gold stars floated around the page and my points balance (14,750) was in bold letters.

    There was also a message stating that, because of my points tally, no transaction fees would apply and I would get 10% cashback on all subsequent purchases.

    What does our "Director of Ticketing" actually do?

    We've had a new system rolled out with hardly any guidance from the ticket office, no comment whatsoever after tickets for three games went on sale at the same time, only nobody could actually buy them, and now we have this where people cannot renew their tickets but haven't been told why.

    The strange thing is that there's people who think the system is the problem, rather than the clowns actually administering it.

    So im quite tech savvy and this has been a right faff

    I can imagine anyone sitting on the fence about renewing getting completely frustrated and just not bothering

    Things like this need to be simple otherwise folks will try once then just not bother and spend there money on something else

    Take Amazon for example , Its so quick and simple to use you have bought it before you change your mind

    It should be one or two clicks to renew your tickets

    But why do the customers have to manually move their own data over? It's not difficult, they have our data on one system, they chose to move to another system so move our data across!! One database to another, basic IT requirements and data migration. Tell Ticketmaster these are our requirements, sort it!! Yet another example of the club not thinking about it's customers at all!! Basic stuff, shambles....

    T&Cs #1 All fees to be repaid if promotion not achieved in Season 2024/25
    T&Cs #2 It applies similarly to all STs as well except where the ticket holder has more than 1800 loyalty points at the end of the season.

    Here you go chaps. I've managed to find my helpful post from a couple of years back. All you need is a printer, an old plastic lid and a few other bits and bobs and...hey presto - your own "plastic card" for free...

    Yes I was told if I really wanted a ticket there would be a charge, but they didn't know what it would be yet.
    A little irritating as we paid £5 for the current card and were told it would last 5 seasons, but it turns out it lasted for 2. Not a lot of money but when you're told one thing and something else happens it doesn't inspire confidence or happiness amongst supporters.

    i’ve been down to ticket office this morning and found out the problem. I sit in NW corner, few blocks across from the ‘atmosphere’ lot and they are closing the stand (except front eight rows) next season, due to poor behaviour of the atmosphere section, so my current seat is now unavailable next year.

    it would have been nice to have been emailed and updated to give a heads up we’ll have to move next year, but hey ho.

    I find it so easy to have a go at the club these days because they are so good at setting themselves up for a massive backlash.
    This new ticketing system as been absolutely fraught with teething problems from day one simply due to poor communication with the fanbase.
    At present I'm still awaiting a response regarding loyalty or now know as City points to be put right on my account, nothing doing so far.
    Trying to avoid face to face because it's not the staffs fault.
    They can send out as many season ticket reminders as they like but if folk can't fathom our how to use the ticketing website how on earth do they expect supporters to renew their present seat in such a short timeframe.

    Call me tight but I never pay the online fees unless I’m going to miss out on tickets. 4 tickets x £1.50 per ticket. £6 quid - 20 times a season that’s £120 in fees. Call up the ticket office and order them over the phone. That’s the Yorkshire man in me !

    How long has this Ticketmaster site been live now? 10 days? 11 days?

    Where are we?

    Well there are no loyalty points on the system and the only game you can purchase tickets for is tomorrow nights game.

    Where are the tickets to Grimsby which are is less than two weeks away on Easter Weekend. A game which usually has a limited number of tickets (1,200) and is usually always sold out.

    Why are tickets not on sale? Is it due to the new system? The fact they can't sell them because it would break their protocol of having different windows for loyalty points, and seeing as the loyalty points no longer exist within the system their hands are tied.

    I mean it's just amateur hour every hour at this club.

    Well that is about to backfire. Ticketmaster do not have a good reputation. Plus I would have thought it would have been better to purchase ST under the old scheme and leave the new one to be introduced in the summer and it would have given fans time to get used to it, but hey what do I know. Once again we are left to speculate the why’s and where for’s.

    So closing it due to the poor behaviour of the "atmosphere" mob, but are happy to move them into a spot nearer the pitch, you couldn't make that up.

    If they are closing it for that reason, why on earth did they waste time and money with a survey that gave an option of them staying in the Norman Corner ?

    Another mess up to add to the list of Spark's ever increasing mess ups.

    What a complete shambles it is.....no proper data migration, no proper testing, no communication, no user guide......nothing to be heard from the Director Of Ticketing....nothing from anybody really!!

    That's a shocking attitude toward customer service but not surprising with the attitude that comes from the guy in charge of this department.

    It will be comedy gold when LoyalBantam gets all his loyalty points wiped off and can't get tickets for Salford.

    You can imagine it now if it's anything like how Ticketmaster sell tickets at major music events ..

    Step 1 Log on to Ticketmaster moments after the season tickets have gone on sale

    Step 2 Wait a few minutes whilst accessing the City ST section

    Step 3 Find my seats and click on Buy

    Step 4 Advised by TM that "Due to unexpected huge demand my seats are no longer available"

    Step 5 "Don't worry" say TM "We will now transfer you to our sister company where the tickets may be available"

    Step 6 Transferred to WearenotTMResellers.com to find my seats at twice the original price.

    Step 7 Begrudginly accept it!

    Many will now say there is no way there will be a huge demand for our STs and that will probably be correct. TM will simply find another way to extract more money from our pockets!
