Tilley left last week for Wimbledon and Powell left for Crewe, two of their more consistent players. We were linked with Kwesi Appiah the January window when Doyle and Vaughan left. Sounds like at least 3 of their offered contracts to lads who were expiring, they just never heard back from the players.

Budgets been slashed, 4 managers last season, cant afford to replace their CEO who left..... got to be brainless to want to go to Crawley this summer.

Brainless or short of options elsewhere. I imagine Crawley's pre season games will feature a lot of players called 'A Trialist'.

And in a parallel universe who thought this NFT , funny money malarkey would be the next best thing since fried bread to cover the full running costs of a successful promoted BCAFC?

I can’t be bothered looking at the old thread…..bet there were an awful lot perhaps?

Their crypto boys gone very quiet on social media. Cant handle the backlash.

Give Rupp has credit - he could have sold and got his money but he knew it wasn't rght.

All the players we were linked with either signed for us or gone elsewhere now.

Just Tyriek Wright left but that's unlikely IMO.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. At the time, I think the fan bas were pretty done with the whole German saga and would have liked to have seen Rupp out, which might have caused more to sway with the proposed change. To give something to WAGMI, once the deal for us fell through, a few of their more public backers with known money behind them fell off the project. Even more dropped out once they went through with the Crawley purchase.

As well as that, the Crypto thing has dropped completely off a hill and the NFT fad is well and truly done after all the Hollywood types scammed a lot of money off people for NFTs. I remember looking at the backers when we were being looked into, and one was an owner of a Philadelphia sports team, a few other well known business people with actually money, not this virtual stuff.... none are listed anymore. Infact, I don't really recognise and of the WAGMI associated backers. Relegation fodder for me this season.

Faceless names who were never really invested in the club, always going to go one way that one. Surely going down this year?

That was the main concern. It was always a risk.

Going by what was said at the forum, absolutely no chance rather than unlikely.
He went for more money than we could offer (he was going to sign for us after we put our best offer on the table, until Plymouth came in). He’s then further benefitted from the promotion so on even more again - so unless a subsidised loan it’s not happening.

He will be loaned out to a league 1 team id imagine. Only chance of us getting him now is if there is no interest from the league above and that Plymouth cover some of his wages like you say.

As well as hindsight it was simple common sense. It’s NO different to saying we will fund a football club based our successes at “ Bet Fred” and “ William Hills”. In my opinion of course.

They may be willing to let him return if the money is “ right” on the basis he was actually developing here ( They clearly saw that) but oddly they themselves have possibly stopped that development by not playing him?

Seems like Plymouth are going to be looking to loan out Saxon Earley, Ben Waine and Tyreik Wright, all younger talent who were signed on long contracts last January.

I'd imagine they'd want a L1 loan. If as our window is pointing to, we aren't going to use wingers it would seem pointless going for Wright?

Sparks and Hughes have both said that we are going to be using different formations throughout the season and as such Im sure that we’ll bring in at least one more wide player.
I doubt that it will be Wright though as he’ll probably go to L1, same with Banks.

Id like Luke Jephcott from Plymouth. No idea if we are in for anymore strikers.

Peter Sutcliffe did more for Bradford in terms of publicity than BMDC have ever done.

Mark & Josh Wright would probably give it a go (again)
