Excitement over why do people do this

 

They probably get 10 total interactions and get excited when it gets shared.

You keep mentioning them and not in a positive way. Lets be honest we'd all love to have them on board, look at what they've done for the town of Wrexham. They could have done more for Bradford than Bradford council have done for decades in terms of publicity.

 

Decent football club that ended up where they were due to shocking ownership. Remember Sven Goran Ericcsen being manager? Should never have been out of the football league.

 

Totally agree about the Council, one of the worst in the country I dealt with in my career and got worse since I retired. Promise I won’t mention the Welsh team again but remember the saying “proof of the pudding…”, coupled with Salford and Notts Co. going back a bit.

 

You may well be right. After all, the lower league is littered with club with disastrous ownership models, Bury, Notts County, Scunthorpe, Oldham to name but a few. These guys at Wrexham though, their whole reputation is built through the media industry. Everything they do is micro analysed like no other owners outside the premiership, i can't see them doing anything that would ruin that reputation built so far. i mean, they could easily have sacked Parky after being beat in the playoffs by Grimsby two years ago. They didn't even reach the final. But they persevered with him and reaped the reward.

 

Am I jealous of Wrexham only for their money they have two talented owners in their field who have taken over a no mark team and will no doubt make a success of it.
Should we or the league kow tow to them ? Should we hell. They should be kept under a microscope in order they don’t breech the financial rules that apply otherwise the integrity of the competition will be dealt a blow.

 

They won’t be , other than 5 years after the event perhaps?. Who is microwatching Salford …….?

I can't understand why Bradford Council haven't embraced Bradford City as a part of a development strategy for the city. The club can bring up to 20,000 people into the city on a regular basis and let's face it there aren't many reasons to visit.

It is great that Bradford City are now linking in with the University, along with the community work the club does. There is such an opportunity for Bradford Council to build on that and drive positive change in the city.

 

Crawley a mess - tearing up contracts and paying off players. Released Appiah tonight and apparently 3 or 4 more to follow. Wonder if we could pick at the bones...

Dont know much about anyone there. Should be there for the taking first game though.

 

There are genuinely people out there that think Steve Evans has had a better managerial career than Mark Hughes.

But I don't remember Evans getting appointed by a single Premier League club, nor do I remember him ever being the most expensive manager in the UK per compensation.

I do remember him winning promotion with Crawley Town though.

I guess Hughes can't compete with that.

(PS, you can't get promoted from the Premier League, hence why Sam Allardyce has also effectively achieved nothing in the Premier League either)

It just means he kept failing and clubs paid him off early to get rid.

 

No, when Man City hired him they had to pay compensation to Blackburn which was a world record figure at the time apparently.
