    He could turn out to be a diamond - and I'll be very pleased if he does - but I reckon Brad Halliday has the shirt at present and he'll do well to wrestle that away from him unless MH plans a significant change, such as attacking wing backs, in the formation.

    Nixon is claiming it is Jack Hunt. Decent player but we must be seeing 1 or 2 moving on, or we have it wrong about the Brentford kid and he will be used elsewhere.

    Be amazed of we are in the market for another full back. A good friend of mine is friends with Jack Hunt, lives out near Wakefield still.

    Would be a certain starter at L2 level, along with the loan I'd only see this one if Hendrie and Halliday were on the way out.

    If Hunt was to come then that would be the end for Halliday as he ain't gonna sit on the bench all season as Hunt would be a definite starter. A bit like the Foulds scenario.

    Tranmere are in the market for a RB after Josh Dacres-Cogley left for Bolton, could be a slot for Halliday? Just pulling out of thin air.

    They've just signed Luke McGee too, won the league with FGR.
